After a few weeks of searching for contractors and finally meeting one that I could trust, Jack and his team continued to surpass my expectations even after the contract was signed. They did extraordinary work on my house. I needed a cornice repaired as well as a wall re-stucco'ed. Not only did they come work during the hottest weeks of the year, but they also communicated clearly when the timing needed to be changed due to either unanticipated challenges with the work or the weather. They were professional and kept the inside of my house clean. They went way above and beyond by taking away some trash (that wasn't even theirs!) from my backyard. I don't have much additional work on the house that needs to be done, but if I did, they'd be the first ones I'd call again. read more

Been using Jack and his crew for a few years now. Can't say enough good things about Jack. He is a stand up guy, that stands by his work. I've had other roofers that simply disappear after the job even if the original issue wasn't remedy with their 'repair'. Jack not only calls back but he actually shows up in a timely fashion. Will continue using them! read more

We have a roof deck on our house, and we were getting terrible leaking in our home for years (actually still are). We worked with Jack at HD Remodeling and Roofing for a couple years, and at first he was awesome! Very responsive, dependable, and decent pricing. Last year we decided to have our wood roof deck removed and replaced with a "waterproof" material that Jack put down. We hoped that would solve the issue of the leaks in our house. Not only did that NOT solve the issue, but now we have so much water trapped between the "roof" Jack put down, and our home. It is literally like walking on a waterbed. And we continue to get terrible interior damage when it rains. When I reached out to him about it, he completely ghosted me. Didn't even have the decency to tell me this job was getting too big for him to handle. So not only did we waste thousands of dollars for this "fix" less than a year ago, now we're stuck with a mess nobody wants to touch. If you're looking for smaller jobs, then I think Jack is great. Don't be surprised if he leaves you high and (not) dry, though. read more

Jack was incredibly responsive and helpful in explaining the damage--he emailed photos with the damaged/leaking areas circled. And he even gave two pricing options (one just for repairs and one for repairs and silver coating that would help prevent any damage in the future) which we really appreciated. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and he even sent us "after" photos so we could really appreciate the vast improvement. I even waited a couple months for it to snow again to be sure that the leaks were fixed before writing a review so you can really trust when I say it was quality work! A big thanks to Jack and his team! read more

We are so happy to have found Jack!! A year after buying our home we started noticing multiple leaks. It was almost impossible to get a response from most of the roofing companies that I called and the ones that did respond blew me off because we have a deck on our roof. Jack was responsive and was able to get out to take a look at our roof very quickly. He was honest and fair and took time to explain everything that needed to be done. He was able to buy us 4-5 years on needing an entirely new roof, which will also require a new roof deck. This is a huge expense and we really appreciate having some time to prepare and we will be calling Jack when the time comes for that project. We have had no leaks since our repairs even with some very heavy rain. On top of roofing repairs, Jack and his team also handle remodeling projects. We have already called him again to help us with replacing rotting trim above all of the windows on the front of our house. We are beyond pleased with his work. He matched the trim and paint so closely that it's impossible to tell that there was ever an issue. We are already building a list of other projects around the house that we will be tackling now that we have found a trustworthy and skilled professional. Thank you, Jack!! read more

I really wanted to hire Hd to make repairs to my roof and some other work in my home, they have great reviews, however despite an initial phone call to stop by my home for a quote there was no follow through. I also attempted to reach them several times after to try to schedule and there was no return call for the several voicemails I left. While the other reviews on yelp are positive it seems they are too busy to even have the courtesy of a phone call to decline any new business which is simply just rude/flaky/inconsistent/unprofessional and when it comes to home repair and remodel consistency and reliability are key. read more

I don't know what happened with HD Remodeling. I used them to do roof work on my house in Summer 2019 and all seemed well. Then six months later the skylight they put in the bathroom started leaking. I texted the owner, Jack, to have him look at it and he did eventually come by and wrapped something around the skylight to prevent it from leaking. While he was on the roof, he also said my chimney needs repairing so he did that (for $850). That was in October 2020. Since then, I have texted and left messages on Jack's phone to have him come back to repair/replace the leaking skylight. Crickets. And now I see his company listed on Yelp as CLOSED. I don't know what to think. Given the Covid nightmare, I hope he is alright. But it would be nice if someone were monitoring his phone and responding to confused customers. read more

I forgot to leave a review, these guys came out at the end of August after a leak that kept coming back after being done by other people and was messing up our ceiling. I contacted them for an estimate they promptly returned my call came out within a day took pictures and said what I knew had to be the problem which mostly was the shingles and lower roof. John said he would send email contract of what needed to be done, details of the work and what they needed to use and removal of all trash from the project. We sent up the date and time but had to reschedule a couple of times because it kept raining but John always contacted me by email to keep me up to date about the weather and rescheduling. Finally no rain, the guys came promptly at scheduled time, showed me the shingles they were putting up. They worked all day! Very professional! Let me know when they were done. Said they would send pictures of completed work and invoice. So after months have gone by and all the terrible raining we have had I can say JOB WELL DONE! Finally no raining inside my house! Thank you. read more

Excellent!! Jack clearly knows his trade and speaks with homeowner empathy. His vibe and prices never made me question if he was recommending and doing things the right way. He even provided a few tips for me for the DIY projects I'm working on. He and another guy repaired and silvercoated a portion of my roof and also repaired a hole and a crack in 2 areas of my livingroom ceiling. In the spring I will be calling again to reseal/silvercoat the rest of my roof. I definitely recommend! read more

Please do not use this roofing company. The owner came out did a repair to my roof I called him back to let him know it was still leaking. He came out repatched it and it still was leaking. I called him again and he has not called me back. That was almost a year and a half. If i needed something else be could of communicated with me but there was no call or text. He completely ignored my calls. Very unprofessional. Don't do it. Only reason I give him a one is he showed up. read more

Jack and crew did a great job repairing our den. They were very professional, reasonable, and took the time to make sure that we were satisfied. We will be using Hd Remodeling/Roofing for any work we need done in the future. I would definitively recommend them! read more

Jack was incredible, offering competitive rates for the work done on our roof and siding. Very good with communication, easy to work with, scheduling was reasonable. Very happy with the quality of his and his team's work! read more

This is the best service ever received. I was kind of scared calling a roofer out to my house being a single home owner, but they were very professional and well priced. I would highly recommend. read more

I rarely ever write Yelp reviews, but when I do, it is for a job very well done. I met with Jack and he recently performed maintenance and repair work to my roof. I received 6-7 roofing quotes (I know that's a lot). Jack provided me with the most reasonable price based on the scope of the work he was delivering. Prior to starting work, he came out 1 week prior and quickly patched a hole in my roof given that it was raining the following day. Jack went above and beyond what I would normally expect out of a roofing contractor. Also, Jack was the most honest contractor of all of the contractors I requested a quote from. Other contractors quoted me double of what Jack offered me. I'd ask other contractors and they would side step my question when I asked "What specific task are you performing that comprises the majority of the quote?" And I received a response along the lines of "We employ nothing but the best materials and best workers!" Clearly, that was not a good sign from that roofing contractor. I also asked Jack to give me a quote on the bathroom for a remodel. He told me that it would cost roughly $5k for a remodel (I only asked for a ballpark estimate on the spot to get an idea of the cost). He personally felt like the bathroom was fine and did not need any repairs/upgrade. We walked out of the bathroom and Jack did not even quote me. That speaks volumes about his honesty. Other contractors would clearly try to persist with the conversation and get me for at least $5k. During the maintenance/repair work of the roof, Jack kept me in the loop with live updates with pictures via text message. If you want honesty, quality, and a reasonable price, Jack from HD Remodeling & Roofing is the only way to go and I highly recommend their services. read more
