I am very disappointed because I am looking for a salon to frequent since I'm still new to the area and this one looked amazing. I've attempted to contact this business three times by the phone number listed on Google. It is an hour after their listed opening time and nobody is answering - fine, they may be busy. (EDIT: Yelp was the only site that indicated they are closed today.) However, it seems they've simply turned off the phone or are sending calls directly to voicemail as it currently rings once and goes right to a personal voicemail for "Mandy". Their website indicates someone named Mandy works there, however, why is the listed number her personal phone? And if it isn't her personal phone, why is the message a slurred "this is Mandy, leave a message"? Who am I calling? Either there is a strong lack of basic professionalism here or their Google and website info is wrong. Either way, it's left a bad taste in my mouth and I have no desire to use this salon anymore. I shouldn't have to play phone tag with a stranger to get my hair done.

I messaged her right away and she proceeded to tell me it's normal when I pick my nails but I've never experienced this in the 10+ years I've been getting gel or any form of nail product on my nails... I asked her if there was anyway she could at least fix the broken one or soak them off cause maybe her process is was caused it since there was gel around my nails and on my cuticles. She only offered me a refund of $45 even though I paid $90 and they didn't even last a day. I ended up having to go to primary care 2 days later because they were blistering. I went to message her and let her know that this had happen and she had me blocked.... In result of my cuticles bleeding and irritation the doctor said i had a chemical burn which is caused from improper curing as well as nail products being left on your skin! I definitely do not recommend as her practices are very expensive and not practiced properly.

Stacy the owner asked me if I could come in to get my hair fixed by her and if a 5pm appointment would work, which apparently is after hours for Stacy. I got a babysitter again for my "fixing" appointment since I'm a single mom and it worked out! Mind you, the owner was talking down to me and getting frustrated as we were talking about everything, even rolled her eyes in annoyance and I even apologized if I wasn't making sense (why are you getting so annoyed when I'm the one sitting here with a horrible job) When I came back to the appointment that Stacy suggested, she let me know when she's all said and done, I owe another $40. When she was rinsing out my hair she said " ohhh gosh it looks so good". When we were done and asked me if I liked it, I got up, looked in the mirror and said: "it looks better than before but there are still orange spots etc." My hair is now four (4) different colors, my roots look awful, patchy, I have a "vanilla" tone she called it and it's overall a HORRIBLE job! I was promoted to please pay $40 and that's where I let Stacy know that I'm going to leave a review about my experience. She then was like: "What?! You still don't like it?" I just told you! She then let me know very rudely that she spent HER free time away from her family and children to fix my hair! I reminded her that I did the same as I'm a single mom! I also let her know how I did not appreciate the way she talked and treated me at my previous appointment and that I never received an apology for the messed up hair. She had nothing to say besides "Why don't you do to your hair stylist then?!" As I was walking out she sarcastically said" sorry it didn't work out for ya!" I was nothing but calm and respectful throughout ALL of this mess and I told Stacy that if she ever has anything else to say then she should post the security footage out of her salon and our interactions! They were AWFUL! She will put on a "good face" so don't let that fool you! It's very fake and if she wants to tell the truth, post your video footage! She refuses to this day to apologize or refund me. She blocked me on social media after I asked her in writing for a refund. She has no email address on her website to keep everything in writing! She is not registered with the BBB either so I can't file a claim but AVOID this salon if you don't want your hair all messed up! The concept of a spiky, wispy, textured pixie is not comfortable for some stylists. Very conveniently located on Hercules off Star Rd next to the Anytime Fitness. I told Jason that I wanted a regular haircut with a #4 on the sides and back. Instead of going high with the clippers, he stayed low and left some length up above to allow for some movement of the hair. No one has cut my hair this way (to my recollection) and I was very happy with the result. The best haircut I've had in quite some time. Jason is also very nice and personable and keeps the conversation going.
