I had such a great experience with Noemi at HBAR! I came in before my wedding trying to blend my hair with extensions and she was incredibly intentional and detail-oriented throughout the entire appointment. She really took her time and checked the processing multiple times to make sure everything was lifting and toning evenly and safely. She was gentle, professional, easy to talk to, and made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxing. I never felt rushed, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about getting the color right. My partial highlight, glaze, and blow dry came out beautiful, soft, blended, dimensional, and exactly what I was hoping for going into wedding week. Thank you Noemi read more

Being someone who's gotten my hair done at many other salons, I can't say enough good things about HBar. I've personally only gotten my hair done by Anthony (owner) or Ashley (master stylist). Both of them are extremely talented, kind, professional, and truly want to make your experience the best possible. The salon isn't huge, so it's nice and feels more intimate. It's always clean, well taken care of, and they offer you a variety of goodies like water, wine, coffee or hot cocoa when you arrive. It's situated on a busier road within Harbor Point. Parking can be sometimes tougher right outside the business, but there's still plenty of parking all around the establishment including a free parking garage. To make it even better - if you're not looking to get your hair done, you can still use any of their other services like massages, or other beautician services such as nails and waxes. Something I've wanted to try! read more

This was my first visit to HBAR and it couldn't have been a better experience. Anthony was super kind and welcoming upon arrival. The salon was clean, modern and I really enjoyed the throwback 2000s music they were playing. Ashley was my stylist and provided a thorough consultation to make sure we were aligned on what I wanted. Watching her work was amazing; she was very precise with every cut and is so talented. This is the best haircut I've had in years and I love the way she cut my curtain bangs. I will absolutely be back! Thank you HBAR team! read more

Each visit I've had at HBAR has always been so pleasant. I recently came in with a photo and some hopes and dreams for my hair. Bianca took great care of my hair, was honest and ensured my after service care was understood. Bianca is such a loving and kind personality who made me feel I was being cared for so well. The whole vibe of the salon is cozy, clean and collaborative. read more

Had the most pleasant experience today! My blowout was so quick, easy, and came out beautifully. Both my hair stylist and washer were so polite and courteous. The salon itself was spotless and the pricing was so affordable. Will absolutely be back!! read more

HBAR salon in Stamford is conveniently located with free public parking less than a block away. There is a modern vibe with a high end look with a very friendly and down to earth staff. Bianca is amazing. Very knowledgeable about hair and scalp and the science behind it. She really cares about her clients and her work. I have always been a satisfied client and highly respect her advice. read more

I'm very happy and feeling more confident after leaving HBAR. Kristina G. Took care of me today and saved me from having to deal with my botched balayage I had done a previous two months ago from another salon. She explained to me about the process on moving forward to bringing back my hair to one color. I know it will take more than todays visit to get rid of the lighter color in my hair, but I'm so pleased with how it turned out. Thank you so much Kristina for your services. read more

Just moved to Harbor Point and got an appointment with the owner, Anthony. It was great getting a real shampoo and haircut for about what I'd spend at my previous barber in Brooklyn. Anthony was friendly, giving me restaurant reccs downtown as a newbie and gave me a great cut. Happy I found my go-to spot already for haircuts. read more

I've been getting my hair done here for years and it just keeps getting better. Anthony is amazing and never disappoints with service and quality. When you walk in you immediately know you're going to leave happier! read more

Very nice people, but have tried them 3 times for highlights and have always left disappointed and paid 3-4x what I do at other salons. My most recent experience was for a partial that cost almost $400 and it does not even look like I got my hair done. I get my roots highlighted every 6 weeks and have for over a decade. Unfortunately, I already have 6 weeks of regrowth at the roots after getting my hair done last week due to very poor highlight placement (~an inch from the scalp in some areas) making it not even worth getting done :( Additionally, the color often ends up brassy and the bands at my roots from giving hbar a try are not great. Very overpriced (a full is upwards of $600+) and results look much worse than a consistently excellent $250 full service from a former stylist/salon who has since moved away. read more

I had a great experience getting a trim and curtain bangs! Antonio was so kind and did a great job with my hair. Highly recommend!

First time at Hbar and I saw Cecilia for a much needed pedicure and wax. She was amazing! She was gentle and effective even though my feet were in rough shape. She's also extremely sweet and personable, I spent much of my visit laughing. The salon has a laid back vibe which is nice when you are trying to relax. I will definitely be back soon! read more

Antonio, the owner, always does a fabulous job. I get haircuts, blowouts, and keratin treatments regularly. Salon is clean and beautiful! Highly recommend this place. read more

Anthony is the best there is. Ive never looked better and he's so easy to deal with. The staff is welcoming and friendly.

Everything HBAR does is at the top of the industry! Anthony has been my stylist for 3 years, and has never failed to absolutely WOW me! Other stylists have told me that they could only do so much because I had "difficult hair", whatever that means. But Anthony only asked me what I wanted if I could have anything at all, and he makes it happen! Different styles, colors, and chemical applications, things that my other stylists said just wouldn't work with my hair. And now I don't ever want to go see anyone else again! I've sent dozens of friends and family his way, and they have all had the same incredible experiences I have. Well done HBAR for the successes you've had, and my loved ones and I can't wait to follow you as you grow even more! read more

Amazing stylists in an excellent space. I always feel so pampered when I'm there and the cut and style is the best I've ever had. I went to the salon for the first time after emerging form my Covid quarantine (1.5 years without a haircut!!). The owner and master stylist Antonio Rende was incredible turning the mess on top of my head into a stylish do that got rave reviews for weeks. HBAR is now my exclusive salon. I recommend this place wholeheartedly. read more

Ladies-book now with Anthony while the secret's safe that this great talent from NYC is here to stay. Anthony- I am so happy that I came to see you in your new Northgate salon. (Anthony currently goes back and forth to his salon in NYC a week/month, but plans to go full time in Seattle later this year). ...not only are you extremely talented, but you and your partner are really great people. I enjoyed my visit and appreciated your staying open an hour later on Labor Day to help a new customer in need. I know I am gushing but I want all of Seattle to visit Anthony and see for yourself what a talent he is. He will work wonders with your look. A transplant from NYC, Anthony is a color expert, who diagnosed and corrected my miserable head of over-bleached hair. He made my banana yellow blonde look natural and fabulous again. He applied a glaze that turned my hair from damaged and frizzy to soft and smooth. Then color, patience , wash, dry, style, and cut. Yes, he cut my hair dry, which well-trained Vidal Sassoon salon stylists in Chicago used to do, meaning he knows what he's doing, and then some. But honestly, after the glaze, color and blow out, my hair already looked 100 times better than it did when I arrived. The cut was the frosting on the cake. Run, don't walk, to HBAR. Park on 4th floor in Northgate mall lot, near entrance to SOLA salon. Enter thru glass doors and go left once inside. Believe me, you won't be sorry you did! read more

I am so thrilled HBAR has come to Harbor Point! I live in the neighborhood and FINALLY, we have a high quality salon that is extremely professional, clean and the stylists just ROCK. After letting my hair go for months on end due to Co-Vid, it was a mess, the color , length, just terrible. I saw HBAR was opening and called and got an appointment that week with the main stylist and owner of HBAR, Antonio. I was welcomed by a warm staff and Antonio was just incredible..he was so non-judgmental , honest and gave me the most beautiful color , exactly what I had requested. I felt brand new leaving the salon and have received so many compliments. I have gone back again to do my roots and partial highlights and once again, Antonio did a beautiful job. I also got my eyebrows done and was very happy with the results. If your in search of a great salon, HBAR will not disappoint! I will be going back for sure!! read more

Fantastic cut!!! So happy with it. Super clean and COVID safe. Will definitely return. Thank you so much

Every time Anthony gets done with my hair I fall in love with it all over again. Requests are always met with patience and understanding, which isn't always the case when you frequently change the outcomes you are looking for. After many years of amazingly maintainable and easy to care for hair, I can honestly say it would be hard to allow someone else freedom with my hair. I have sent many a friend to Anthony and not one of them has left his caring hands. I've also had multiple colors, but his understanding and manipulation of blondes has always left me thrilled with my results. The latest wave of his wand has once again left me a very happy client. read more

Hands down some of the worst customer service i have ever experienced,, rude, inept, obnoxious, clearly incompetent and unqualified. Went to get my hair "trimmed", big mistake. Incompetence takes a second, results last for months,, Been getting hair done in nyc for +20 years at ~$150 a pop, needed quick ends trimmed for biz meet, bad idea,,, Don't do it,,, Worth taking metro north and staying w what you know is a safe-haven vs risking your precious commodity (time & your hair) w these amateurs,, read more

I will just start off by saying best haircut experience I have ever had! Never have i left with a haircut feeling so attractive. Anthony (The stylist) is a professional you can sit down and have a chat with. Super friendly, candid, and really wants to reach your hair goal. While washing my hair i got an amazing head massage that released so much head tension to cured a caffeine headache. The products he used throughout the process made my hair feel healthier and gentle. I can still smell the sweet scent of it. He walked me through what he was doing asking about how my hair bends and reacts which i have never had before. The final perk is Starbucks partners get a discount! Highly recommend it and the price is nothing compared to the experience. Thanks HBAR hope to see you soon! read more

I have trusted Anthony with my hair for the past 10 years. Our first together experience together was to color correct a horrific at home box color job that left my hair about 3 different colors. When Anthony was done my hair was left evenly colored and healthy. He has taken my hair from red to brown to blonde, he knows exactly what to do to bring out the best in your natural hair. Anthony's experience and dedication to his clients is something that everyone looks for in their next stylist. I've even gotten some great at home care tips from him that changed my daily routine. He's constantly keeping up with current trends and techniques to make sure his clients get the best service. Seattle you have just gained a precious piece of the East Coast. read more
