The lady at the front desk was very sweet, and kind of sassy, which my boyfriend and I both loved. The doctor was very quick & to the point. He sent me to get blood work done at a separate location because he couldn't see the baby. After he got my results back he called us first thing in the morning to let us know we were miscarrying the baby. Both of us were devastated. After we went back for a follow-up to see how everything was going the doctor walked into the room and said "Let's see how that baby is doing!" It was really just the icing on top of our already shitty cake. He didn't even bother to apologize after I corrected him. He just left the room to test my pee, and then came back to tell me I had successfully miscarried. It's been a month now since this happened, and I'm pregnant again. I've decided that Dr. Hazan isn't right for me, and we won't be coming back. I would not recommend him to anyone, unfortunately.

Dr. Schuetz is a wonderful, kind, knowledgable and compassionate OBGYN. I can not sing her praises…read moreenough. I was new to the area and had to find an OB and feel so very lucky that I found her. She always made me feel comfortable with any questions or concerns my husband and I may have had throughout my entire pregnancy. Come delivery day Dr. Schuetz was not on call, it was a Sunday afternoon and she came in to deliver my son anyway. She does her best, even when not on call, to deliver all of her babies. I am now pregnant with my 2nd child and we are relocating and I don't think I will be able to find an OB to ever compare to her. I will say at times the wait is a little long but you will find that she is very thorough and never makes you feel rushed. This is worth an extra wait every so often.

I received "care" by proxy. My actual OB was sick and could not be present for my labor. Flick was…read moreawful and it felt racially charged. She threatened to have me sent home when I was 7 cm dilated because I didn't want to have my water broken(I wanted to have a natural hospital labor) all of my natural birth requests she denied because she had somewhere to be at 7pm. She threatened a c section less than 24 hours into birth when it was absolutely NOT necessary. When I said no several times at she also threatened to notate in my file that I was essentially willing to let my baby die because I would not agree to a c section under her care because she wouldn't give me a real legitimate reason WHY a c section was necessary in my case. Flick is an AWFUL woman. I can't believe she's an L&D doctor. She made my labor a terrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She also made me start pushing at 9cm because she said "you can push to a 10 cm, I pushed for 2 hours and at the end of it she said to me I should be considering a c section if I don't progress..... still under 24 hours into my labor. I HAD TO FIGHT WITH THIS WOMAN AND TELL HER I DONT TRUST HER FOR HER TO FINALLY RESPECT ME A PATIENT. but Thankfully I had a wonderful nurse that stayed by my side and helped me FINISH my labor VAGINALLY. Dr. McIntosh has been my primary care doctor for over a decade. He is very personable and has an excellent bedside manner. He has seen me through quite a few health issues and always pops through when I've been admitted to the hospital. We don't have all the answers for my health problems but I can't say he doesn't LISTEN to every single one of them. He orders tests and refers me to specialists when needed. I've never felt misunderstood or dismissed which is not something I can say for many many specialists I've seen. To be fair, Auto Immune diseases are notoriously difficult to diagnose but I can confidently say Dr. McIntosh is doing everything he can to help me get answers. I would send anyone I know to see him without reservation. *Read up on Celiac Disease, doc! The amount of misinformation from medical professionals on this is criminal and a huge disservice to those who have it. Effects from celiac damage can spill over into almost every other part of your body. Celiac is for life and a negative blood test/scope (after a positive one) means you're doing well GF. it does NOT mean Celiac went away and you can eat what you wish! Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk (which I shockingly have to give to almost every doctor I've seen.)

A few years ago I was in search of a great doctor but was having a hard time finding one... I…read morechecked out a couple that were okay, but the hunt continued until I found Dr. McIntosh. I was sold after my first appointment. If you live in the St. Peters/O'Fallon area, this is your guy. If you live downtown, this is still your guy. I swear he's worth the drive. I've never had a doctor pay more attention to what I'm telling him and genuinely care about what it is that I'm saying... and that's priceless. He's also a pretty funny guy who tries to be "hip" to what's going on in the world and strikes up the funniest conversations! Dr. McIntosh is thorough and knowledgeable, and he'll get you back up and running in no time. I've seen him for typical stuff such as allergies and colds, and he makes great recommendations and always gives me tips that help me feel ten times better. I even had to call the after-hours line once with a bad sinus infection (sure he appreciated that one) and he was still as caring and attentive even though I was bugging him late at night. What puts him above all others is how he follows up and doesn't give up until you've fixed whatever the problem is. For myself, the allergy queen, he prescribed a medicine and a nose spray and had me check in with him 7 days later via the phone, and we spoke that often until he had me on a plan that was working wonders. Looks like I'll be driving that 45 minutes next time I need him!
