Backstory; I…read morerecently married my childhood, sweetheart. both of our fathers were volunteer fireman at Alameda county fire department back in the. 60s and 70s. brief version; I was to meet my fathers friend and get a tour of the fire house. unknowingly my father's friend, also brought his twin sons. After the introduction at the firehouse, I heard a voice, say" Hey dad, a new fire houses had dalmatians for a mascot. I didn't know that this one had a Dawna for one. Needless to say, this was our first encounter. in the beginning of our love story. after marrying this past September 2022. we went back to the firehouse to ask if we can take some photos of us and the firetrucks. Unfortunately, I did not jot down the two fireman's names . They told us how much they loved our love story. Joked around with us and we're extremely pleasant. They were so obliging. they opened up the firehouse garage doors and offered to take the pictures of us in front of the fire engines. the pictures turned out beautiful. We will be using them at our reception. Thank you, thank you thank you!

Tucker is a very well loved dog and our family truly appreciates everything you did to take care of him until we found him. He was discovered missing from our home on Wednesday morning around 8:15; prime traffic time on Grant Avenue...someone left the door open! We searched for him for 3 hours until finally notifying animal control. Yvette from Animal Control matched the description immediately (older dog wandering with a cone on his head.) He was located at the Fire Station in San Lorenzo. What a relief to find him safe and well taken care of!!! Thank you Station 22! And thank you to the stranger who notified the Fire Dept. When I left home water was coming out from the back of my house. This happens sometimes so I paid…read moreno attention to it. When I came home my whole front was flooded. I ran to the back where the water was coming from a sprinkler system pipe that had burst. I called the water company who told me to call the police and the police called the fire department. Fire department came out, and I tell you three angels came to my house. Their names are RYAN, RYAN and MUTTON. They found the problem cut the water off and told me what I needed to fix it. I then tried to find a handyman to come fix it but couldn't find anyone right away. Low and behold Ryan, Ryan and Mutton came back with the parts and tools and fixed it. Going above and beyond the duties of a fireman. It is such a blessing to have angels like this at the Hayward fire department station nine.

Went to the mall and met some super sweet women who tried their very best to help me repeat some of the same steps when a customer came in and said "girl, same thing happened to me last week. Fire department cut it for me!" So i called the fire department near by. They told me to come by so i did. I was welcomed by Dylan & Dan. Friendly, clean cut every day heroes who didn't make me feel silly for this predicament, instead cut both rings and chatted about the fires up north to keep my mind from allowing embarrassment to resurface. After 5 years of having these rings on, they are off and my ring finger is free of a promise ring.; ready for whatever's next. Thank you gentlemen.
