But the guy was out the next day and fixed it. It was raining and muddy but he did the job anyway. He cleaned up the the area when done. All in all I'm very impressed. I thought price was a little high. However, they responded quickly, I didn't have to wait. So the next 2 days of rain we had, my downspout worked as it should. So it was worth it. The phone cal the next day checking to see if I was satisfied was nice too. I had another company come out for an estimate prior to Free Flow. They said they would have to come back when the weather was better and do some testing . Scott from Free Flow recognized the problem right away.

Did that, called back and was told to forward results. Did that, was told I'd get a call back that afternoon. Did not get a call back. I called back the next day, arranged a 1p Friday appointment. He had no idea what I was talking about, would reach out to Nicole and call me back with an answer. It is now 3p on Monday, and STILL have not gotten any callback from anyone regarding anything. Even a 'hey, emergency job ran long, sorry, can we reschedule?' would have gone a long way. Certain charges shown on their iPad did not match the work that was actually done, and when we asked for clarification, we did not receive an honest response. We found that invoices were altered after the fact, with hidden or unexplained charges added. Moreover, after agreeing to work, we realized that the owner and staff did not obtain the required permits for some of the work, and the company acted like that is not an issue. The company has had good reviews, which we used to select them, but we now know that they are starting to go bad and are finding ways to take advantage of hardworking people. They talked about reviews all of the time, and we now know that they push people to write good reviews. Look more closely and beware because they will seduce you with smiles and tons of details on invoices. Make sure that they follow the rules, check everything, and verify that all required permits are properly filed before work begins. Be careful of the salespeople that they use to push you to take your money and break the law. This is not acceptable in our small town or even in our country.
