The front desk, the transport service and the nurses who tended to her were all friendly and helpful. She has said very favorable things about the place and the workers. I haven't seen very much of the facility aside from the entrance, her floor where her room was located and the vending machine area. It looked very well kept and looks like they try their best to provide entertainment and services to the visitors. The visitor parking lot fills up FAST but they are 2 blocks from the Broad Street Subway and the bus routes. Very accessible via public transportation. They are also located close to South St so there are options if you are looking for a bite outside of their vending machines if you're visiting. They do not allow overnight guests so no sleeping over. I was very hesitant when I saw the bad reviews but I hope that has since changed. My aunt's stay was maybe just a week so it wasn't very long but it was adequate and she recovered enough to go home. I am thankful that she found the place and workers comfortable and accommodating.

Since my mother's arrival, the level of support has been exemplary. She has been in her independent unit for over six months and continues to express her gratitude of being in such a personable and caring community. Each day she is establishing connections with both residents, and staff and I feel the value-centered community of "friendship, dignity, and respect" is truly woven into the fabric of this very special place. You don't just share someone's number without asking them first and explaining the process. So my phone was blowing up; calls, texts and emails. I hit a wall and broke down sy one piint in December because I'm trying to handle my situation l, as stressful as it was, and take care of own health needs. One woman who called was so generous to listen and empathize with me and that's what pulled my emotions out and let me cry. I was livid, to say the least! I contacted Joan and told her to stop everyone from calling me. I don't have time to talk to all these facilities that aren't even in the area I was looking!!! It slowed down but the damage was already done and people kept calling. I emailed and texted her again. I also told her that I no longer needed her services. The exam rooms surround the waiting room. I waited a few minutes before getting called back for X-rays then into the exam room. I wired about 5 minutes for Dr MacBeth who is an excellent doctor. She asked some questions to be sure she understood my issue then allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed to. I was sent to PT down the hall for a brace. The therapist, Norah, was super nice and also answered all my questions. She took her time fitting the brace to be sure it was perfect. She also made sure I understood how to do the exercises . The bathrooms and exam rooms are clean. I was here several years ago for a broken arm and had an excellent experience too
