The written job estimate was detailed and included a few additional items I requested in writing. Communications were professional with the office (Becky) and field staff (Hayden) and assurances were given to get my job on the calendar as soon as possible. The installation crew worked diligently to complete our one story ranch house roof in one day. We were very satisfied with the installation and cleanup. The shingles were true to the brochure photos and were a perfect match for the color of our house. Hayden performed a final walk around and we agreed to a few minor installation tweaks for completion. We love our new roof and highly recommend A1 Roofing in Aberdeen, WA.

Moss remained on portions of the roof, a shingle was knocked loose, the roof treatment was insufficient, and the gutters were not cleaned as agreed. What disappointed me most was that there was no quality review or follow-up by management to confirm the work had been completed properly or to obtain my approval before considering the project finished. A-1 offered to return and redo the work. However, when a service falls this far short of the agreed scope, I believe either a different crew should be assigned or a refund should be offered. I was no longer comfortable having A-1 continue with the project. I hired another company to complete the same scope of work. They performed the work thoroughly and professionally. After seeing the condition of my roof, they commented that A-1 should not have charged me for work that was not completed. If you choose to hire A-1, I recommend requesting a thorough quality inspection at the conclusion of the job and providing final approval only after verifying that all work in the proposal has been completed. I also recommend questioning the requirement for a 50% down payment, as the company appears to have minimal upfront material costs for this type of service.

5-Star Review for Dianovich Painting LLC…read more We couldn't be happier with the incredible job Hunter Dianovich did on our home here in Ocean Shores! He painted the main house and perfectly matched the out-front area, giving everything a clean, cohesive, and beautiful coastal look. The entire team he brought along was fantastic. A huge shoutout to Guy Jackson, who handled the pressure washing, rot repair and flashing repairs seamlessly, and Fred Morris, the electrician, who did an amazing job with our electrical needs. It was such a relief to have professional, reliable people working on our property. What truly set Hunter apart was his outstanding customer service and attention to detail. After completing the project, he took the time to come back out and asked my husband to do a thorough walk-around with him to ensure we were completely satisfied. When we identified a few minor spots, he returned quickly to take care of the touch-ups and make sure everything was flawless. If you need a painter in Ocean Shores who takes pride in his work and cares about his clients, we highly recommend Dianovich Painting! Definitely added a lot of value to our home! I really wanted to find a long term lawn care person... but this wasn't it. When I messaged for a…read morequote they did get right back to me. He came out relatively quickly and did a site visit to give me a bid although the day after he said he would initially be out which caused me to change plans and use two days to get bid. The bid was very reasonable - about an acre for 120 + grass removal. I accepted and he said he would be back Thursday or Friday the next week. Both days came and went then I got a message that he would be there Saturday... I was supposed to be off the 2 days he told me to expect him but was working on Saturday. When I came home the lawn still was not mowed. I then got a text and he said I hadn't accepted the invoice he had sent me via text. I told him I didn't know I needed to and asked about some extra charges on the invoice - as it turns out he accidentally added taxes for a few different locales on my bill. The bill was corrected and I accepted the invoice. He (or an employee) showed up to mow - almost 2 weeks after the initial bid and a week after the first scheduled time - but didn't bring their riding lawn mower and only finished about a third of the yard due to grass height. He notified me of the issue, told me he would be out the next day with his rider to finish. He did finish mowing the yard but since he was charging extra for grass removal he sent me a message saying he got all the grass up that his rider would pull up. I thought that was odd... I waited to pay until I saw the yard - and his assessment that he got everything up that could be was not true. There were sections of the lawn that looked almost raked and other sections that were thick with grass and without tire tracks through it. It obviously had NOT been driven over. I messaged him with pictures and said either to remove the grass removal fee or come back out and finish the job. He sent me a new invoice with a reduced amount and no further communication. I saw the other reviews, I understand the nature of the work and how things may need to be fluid as far as dates/times. I even would have been fine if he had simply said that he would come back out and finish picking up the grass... and I would have given him another shot. But collectively the missed dates for the bid, missed dates for the mowing, the first trip out being unprepared - despite having seen and bid the job, failing to finish picking up the grass and finally not coming out and finishing the grass removal - I just cannot do business with this kind of performance.. and I really wanted to. He did remove the grass removal fee, that was a positive...I regretfully cannot recommend this company and will be looking again.
