We were very happy with their work on our project and will definitely use them again in the future. I appreciated that they were upfront about their pricing and stayed within budget overall. We think it was a very good value for the amount of work we had done. Matt in their office was very responsive and super helpful throughout the process. The lead tech on the project, Grant, was very knowledgable, thorough and answered all sorts of questions I had. Ben and True did great work as well and it was a pleasure to have the whole team in our house. I really appreciated how kind the whole Mirsky team was to my family and how focused they were on getting the job done right.

The tech they sent spent an hour looking around, trying to find the problem. He said he couldn't solve it but we still got charged $411. He said he would have to send someone else. Any estimate for the job? No - he couldn't even make an estimate. When I called Adam, he said they would send a more experienced tech. Why not send someone qualified the first time? What about the charge for showing up and not doing anything? "That's our normal fee?" So, will we be charged for a new estimate? "It's still $250 to show up." Really? I told him we didn't want them anymore and we would like at least a partial refund. He agreed to a refund of $125, but the refund didn't come. I called again and he said they had a miscommunication. Now it would be sent. Still no refund ... We found a new person, a handyman - he said it was challenging, but he found the broken connection and he only charged us $250. Mirsky? Never again ...

What stood out right away was their methodical approach. Rather than guessing or replacing parts unnecessarily, they took the time to listen to what I had already investigated, ran their own tests, and systematically worked through the possibilities. Their experience was obvious from the start. The issue turned out to be a detached neutral in the attic wiring, something I likely never would have discovered on my own. What had become a frustrating and confusing problem for me was diagnosed quickly and repaired correctly. Just as important, they explained both the cause and the solution in clear, straightforward terms. It's reassuring to know there are still professionals who combine technical expertise with honest, thoughtful service. The next time I need electrical work, I know who I'm calling.

I contacted Benchmark, and they had Ed and a couple guys up at my place within an hour. They were friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. They tested the circuit, determined the issue was a faulty breaker, and had it swapped out in 15 minutes, for a total visit time of about 30 minutes. The cost of the visit was reasonable, and they were very upfront and direct about it, and mercifully they made no attempt to upsell anything. Overall, it was exactly what I was hoping for. I've got their information saved, and I'll be contacting them next time I have any need for an electrician.

The actual work was done efficiently in about half an hour, which I really appreciated. They sent out Cade, who was fantastic. He was friendly, warm, and very professional, and clearly knew his stuff. Our house is very old (built in the 1930s), and he was thoughtful and realistic about what was possible given the age of the wiring. He was also understanding of our situation as renters and worked within our budget without any pressure or upselling. I was also completely out of my depth, to the point where Cade solved 50%+ of our issues by flipping a literal switch. Slightly embarrassing, but honestly a perfect illustration of why professionals exist. He walked me through how everything worked, explained what had gone wrong, and shared practical tips on how to prevent future issues. We chose GOAT to install a three zone mini split system. //CONSULT// Our consultation with Andrey (one of the owners) was fantastic. He was on time and showed up when he said he would. Unfortunately other companies we asked for quotes missed their appointments - but not Andrey. He thoroughly explained everything and did a thorough walk through. //COMMUNICATION AND QUOTE// I liked that Andrey followed up with us to check in with us. Again other quotes took more than 3+ days. Andrey had a quote within 1 business day. He emailed us asking if we had further questions. //DAY OF// Vasilly and his team (Mark, Ed, Lubec and Alex) arrived promptly! They did another thorough assessment and provided two solutions: Going through our attic or going along the exterior soffit. Our house has a unique challenge in that our siding is fiber cement with bricks in the wall. They were extremely communicative, cleaned thoroughly, and finished within ~5 hours. Everything turned out fantastic! They made everything look so clean and so sleek! He was able to promptly provide a ballpark estimate for different options, and I picked one option to get a detailed quote. Also got two other quotes. Went with Goat to replace the furnace as well as an aging air conditioner with a new heat pump and furnace. Great service, got it installed quickly once Andrey received it. Price was great and very competitive with the other ones. House is warm and toasty, and energy bills are lower with the heat pump providing heating when it's not cold enough for the furnace. Would recommend and use again if needed.

The problem was never the cost. - As laymen looking to HVAC experts, we offered to pay to diagnose the issue and that was rejected. - Neither of the two tech's that were sent out found the issue, the first didn't even attempt to. Yet I managed to find it in just a few minutes of searching. - I was told twice that if the scope of the project changed I would receive a call regarding a change in the estimate. That never happened, I called you. - When presented with an estimate that was nearly the same as the original estimate after significantly reducing the scope and labor, I was more or less attacked over the phone - including being blamed for the situation - when I was looking for a reasonable explanation and some accountability. I know you're a business and have costs and I understand sharing those expenses with you. My frustration is not about the money, it's about how the situation was handled. It is about the apparent lack of due diligence on the part of your team. The disappointment of looking to experts to help solve a problem and finding out that they didn't put in the effort to address the issue in what would have been a simple fix. And most importantly, the rudeness we received when looking for accountability. Describing the situation as unprofessional only scratches the surface.

They have now no showed twice in a row, without so much as a phone call. The first time our window was between 2-4 so I stayed home from work to accommodate. At 4:30 we called them and they said the technician called out sick and they've rescheduled us. They never contacted us to let us know. They also require you to be home when they come to visit, yet didn't contact us to tell us when the reschedule was. We found out when we called looking for our technician. Rescheduled appointment finally comes my husband confirms it the day before since we hadn't heard from them, and we get a 730-930 window. I again stay home from work to accommodate, and lo and behold no call no show. My husband contacted them again and got an auto response that our appointment was the following week. He requested a callback which they didn't do. The next day they texted him and said they had an emergency and rescheduled us. Again, never contacted us, no coordination on date and time. We love our Generac, but I do not recommend this company.
