I then tell her that I still can't find it so, she asks 'which one is it again', mind y'all, there is no one else in the damn store. I'm the only customer, and I had only been in there for a whole 60 seconds. Now, she walks up right in front of me and pulls the shirts to the side and mentions it's not in the color in the front window, black, and they must have sold out. Then she storms off. She didn't even mention if I wanted the one in black she would take it off the manikin in the window. So, I walked out. I can't be in that room and space. Whether you're stopping in Georgetown to 'tourist' or just passing by, an easily accessible and clean place to 'pit-stop' is always welcome. They have a small, but cute gift shop with an assortment of Colorado mountain-style gifts (surprise!). There are also vending machines in the center with assorted beverages and snacks. And of course there are maps and various brochures for local attractions. And staff to answer your questions. I live somewhat locally and pass through Georgetown a few times a year. I do wish they would repair the locks on the couple of restroom stalls that don't lock. Minor nit, but I've noticed the door-locks on the same stalls being broken (or still broken) every time I'm there. Also the last time I was here (last week), I thought I saw only three picnic tables in their nice tree-shaded grassy area next to the parking lot. Didn't there used to be more? I always thought it would be a decent spot to stop and have a picnic, but with so few tables... Budget cuts pretty much suck.

You're pretty much greeted by the coffee counter/check-out right when you enter, but beyond that there is a decent selection of all of your touristy needs. From t-shirts, to magnets and postcards, plush animals, etc. We just got two cold brew coffees and left, but they do have indoor seating to enjoy your drinks. The cold brew was $4.50 each and they didn't charge me at all for adding syrup flavors or creamer. The coffee was fresh and smooth and exactly what we were looking for. Our barista was extremely friendly and worked through the line of patrons very quickly. I'd certainly recommend stopping in.

Whoever does the buying for this shop has amazing taste. I guess technically this place is a florist, but there are lots of live plants and gifts for sale as well. There was nothing in this store that didn't completely jive with my taste. The owner has kindly labeled a few things as NFS, which is totally fair. I wouldn't want to part with that cool stuff either. I came in here to do Christmas shopping for a guy. A guy's guy. There was more than enough here to stuff his stocking, and I left with some stuff for me as well. I even bought a planter and some succulents--the woman working, who I think was the owner, offered to pot them up for me. I took her up on it, and it was the most loving, thoughtful job of potting a plant I've ever seen. I would have been much harder on those poor little plants. This is a very cool operation, things are reasonably priced, and I am looking forward to my next opportunity to shop for somebody. I'll be comin' right back.
