He loved the variety of activities and made so many new friends. He came home with fun stories each day. I loved that they offered a variety of options from 2 days/week to 5 days. We returned last summer and an unexpected and sudden medical event threw our summer for a loop. They were beyond kind and accommodating. Michael, the owner, personally made sure we were taken care of at a very scary time and was just incredibly kind and communicative. I can't thank him and his staff enough for the support. I would recommend this camp for any family. Its like a classic, old-school summer day camp experience!

My son attended Adventurewood camp for the first time this week. For the most part he enjoyed…read morehimself -- particularly the characters they introduce throughout the week. However, we decided to pull him out for next week because of a very disturbing situation. He shared that a counselor had pushed him with both hands on his shoulders during a capture the flag activity. He had dropped his flag and was putting it back on when a counselor (he didn't know her name) pushed him back hard enough to make him lose his balance and fall. She also barked "you need to reset!" She didn't ask if he was ok or help him up. You'd think if this was an accidental push and he fell over she would say something like "sorry bud are you ok? Here let me help you up" but nope, not a word. A friend he's attending camp with witnessed the whole incident. Since I pick them both up in the afternoons they both recounted this situation to me and both of them noted how inappropriate her behavior was. I immediately reached out to Michael, the owner of the camp. He said he wanted to identify this counselor and get her side of the story. Understandable. My son felt uncomfortable going back the next day but I reassured him it would be handled and offered to drop him off in the morning and stick around to talk to Michael and the counselor. I wanted him to feel safe. Michael identified her (her name is Carson) and said he wanted to talk to her first, which he did a few feet away from me. I heard her say she didn't push him. They then walked over to me and she again denied everything. So we asked both kids to come over and recount what happened. They both did -- in front of her -- and reiterated she pushed him. She denied even touching him. So Michael suggests at this point that perhaps it was an accident and my son responds by saying "how do you push someone like that by accident?!" No response. So I ask her, are you saying these kids are lying? She again said she didn't touch him and at this point we send the kids away. I'm incensed because not only does she gaslight both of them to their face but tells this bold faced lie to her boss in front of the campers and me. I tell her I believe them and I think she's the one lying. At this point she gives me this dirty look - angry, irritated and almost rolls her eyes at me. I turn to Michael and say "and now she's giving ME an attitude?!" Unbelievable. In a follow up call, he tells me how good of a person she is and that this is shocking for him to hear but that she doesn't seem like someone who would do something like this...that she's getting her teacher credentials and he knows her really well. I am getting the vibe he doesn't actually believe any of this and he sounds very skeptical. I respond by telling him that it's almost always surprising when people exhibit bad behavior and that even teachers do bad things...that doesn't make her any more credible in my eyes. He acknowledged that. In fact, it's worse because I would be really concerned to have someone like that teaching a kid. Lack of empathy, accountability, and integrity. I mean, I think it's great he's trying to have her back but there are moments in life when you need to draw a line and act swiftly...these are one of those moments. Because ultimately, this impacts the reputation of your camp. I told him that it would be good to offer training to his staff in case this ever happens again in the future and honestly he sounded baffled and asked me to clarify...I said well maybe tell your staff not to give dirty looks to a mom who's clearly upset that her son just got pushed by a grown adult at summer camp?? I told him that the response to this situation could've resulted in a totally different outcome. Had she said something like "I really don't recall pushing you but if I inadvertently did and made you feel bad I'm sorry - I didn't mean to do that" - I would've went home that morning feeling fine about the situation. When I told him this he said that he's not going to police all her reactions, that she's still young, that she's still learning and made all kinds of excuses for her. Exhausting. Apparently she got a "warning" and will sit out of the flag activity (umm, ok...). He seems like a smart guy and wish him nothing but success in the future and I was earnestly trying to offer advice for how to handle a situation like this better but it fell on deaf ears. I really hope that some kind of learning comes out of this for both of them. Oh and to top it off, my son's friend told her mom that Carson was giving her looks several times throughout the day today and when she asked what kind she said "side eye" looks. NOT COOL. My son also said she was kind of mean to him but wondering why they were even in close proximity when Michael said they'd absolutely be separated and would not see each other? Validates we both made the right choice by pulling them both out. He offered a refund but I'm still pissed about the situation.

We absolutely love the facility--it's large, clean, well organized, and well staffed, which makes a big difference, especially for long training sessions. The coaches are truly outstanding. Every coach we've worked with has been knowledgeable, supportive, and excellent with kids, knowing how to push them while still making training positive and encouraging. What really stands out is the team environment. It has helped our son become more social, build confidence, and develop both strength and discipline. He looks forward to practices, enjoys the structured training sessions, and continues to grow--not just as an athlete, but as a person. We also really appreciate the family community that Klub Gymnastics provides. It feels welcoming and supportive, and it's clear that they genuinely care about their athletes and families. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Klub Gymnastics to any family looking for a positive, high-quality gymnastics program.

My 3 year old son Bradley has been going here for a little over 3 months and absolutely loves it…read morehere. All the coaches are wonderful. Bradley attends the Saturday 10am class with coach Dax and Chaucer. They make it so fun for the kids. Coach Dax reminds me of Blippi, very animated and positive. He always has a way of getting Bradley to try and not give up. Coach Chaucer is so nice and has helped Bradley do some challenging obstacles that has given him so much confidence. Coach Mayo is amazing as well. He truly built something special here. My husband and I were looking for a class that Bradley would be into. It was quite difficult finding something catered to his age. As active as most boy toddlers are at his age, I wanted to look for something that would help his confidence at the same time give him body awareness and burn off that energy. At the park, we would noticed he gravitated to the more challenging obstacles made for older kids, giving my husband a heart attack. So I wanted to find something he can do in a safe space. So I saw this school on Yelp and was very excited to see they offered something for his age. I've always thought parkour and freerunning was cool and wished I had done it when I was younger. Also I love watching ninja warrior. I immediately thought how cool would that be if my son becomes the next ninja warrior lol. In all seriousness, based on my son's daredevil ways, this was a great fit. In the few short months he has been there, he has gained a lot of confidence and body awareness. Every week he looks forward to his class and talks about it all week long. He really wants to begin the rounds instead of doing the warm ups and sometimes he refuses to leave after class is over. This is how much he loves it here. He loves parkour so much that he is doing it in the house lol. He learns how balance, jumps, rolls, and more. Most importantly; it is all done in a safe environment with the coaches watching. I really like the teacher to student ratio because each kid gets that dedicated coaching as well as you know your child is looked after and is safe. All in all I'm so happy that Bradley is here and doing something he loves. I highly recommend Fr3running Society. Coach Mayo definitely made something truly unique here.

The area is new to me and I very much enjoyed some of the shops.I am a guy who at one time only had experience eating in South Central Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, Long Beach and the Hub Cities. I do love these cities and I am happy to experience new unfamiliar places like Atwater Village and Silver Lake. Molly was there to kindly greet everyone, guide the children to complete task and behave, teach craft and chat with the adults. I enjoyed being in her class and I enjoyed seeing my little nephew complete his project. You can tell Molly has experience and education working with young children. On the walls we saw paintings and various drawings made by children. We did an Autumn seasonal craft project with paper, wooden wreaths, glue and various other decorative items. They have no-meter warning on Sunday, all other days there is a 2 hour maximum at a meter which can be paid by quarters or credit card, I do not think they accept EBT. Plenty of parking that day and other parking available if you are willing to walk. There is a garden area out back with rocks and a bench and the sun and air flowing in. I enjoyed the experience very much so as did many of the people I met there. I think the price range is fairly reasonable for the uptown people of this affluent area though maybe not for this downtown kind of guy. I do plan to come back in this area and I would highly recommend this place to any Hipster parents who want to keep children entertained for a while and want to help develop their children's vital skills.

But now they are not honoring that commitment they themselves gave. All they have offered me is to join now as a member for $300 per month (instead of $400), thereby allowing me to "earn" my refund back by paying them another $3300 in order to get back my already paid $1100. They have stated below that they are "happy to work with me directly on finding a reasonable path forward within what they are ABLE to offer" when that is patently untrue. They have avoided my emails and calls repeatedly. All I got from them was one angry phone call with the male owner where he belittled, screamed, interrupted and was entirely rude to me. They have many choices to let me use my credit: they could refund me, they could allow me to sign up for camps or classes using the refund, or they could allow me to transfer the credit to another person. But they refuse to do any of those 3 reasonable choices, instead only offering for me to GIVE THEM MORE MONEY in order to get my already paid money back. They are acting like they care, but they care not at all. They say they are willing to talk respectfully, but the one phone call I got from them was anything but respectful. Shame on them for lying to the public like this. ORIGINAL POST: I would avoid this place like the plague. Owners are terrible people. They continued to charge me after I had cancelled, to the tune of $1100. For months and months I requested refunds, credit, anything.. they would not respond to my calls or emails. Finally the manager, Kyle, responded saying I could use it as a credit, then when I tried to sign up for classes using the credit, again crickets! So, again calling and emailing them for months, getting no reply. Finally again, Kyle said I could use the credit as a transfer to give to someone else, but then again didn't send the credit transfer to me or reply to me for months! I texted, emailed, called.. nothing. Today I spoke on phone with owners Ashima and Vishal and the said they would not let me have my credit, that I could not use the transfer for the credit that their manager said I could have, and they would not refund me at all! With no good reason given in any way. Really bad place and bad owners.
