Through my conversation with Lalo, a lot of my anxiety immediately melted away. Once we were placed, we signed up for weekly classes based on our skill level and have had nothing but a positive experience. Our teacher is Andrea - she is charismatic, professional, and skillfully integrates on-the-fly lessons to our broader goals (i.e., when we are confused by a concept Andrea organically integrates it into our lesson and explains it in such a clear way). Everything we do is in Spanish - 45 minutes of conversation, then 45 minutes of lessons/activities/homework review. The Culture and Language Center has really helped cure so much of my speaking anxiety and given me a lot of confidence - now I feel safe to speak, play, and even make mistakes. :) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this program to anyone. If you are on the fence, you won't regret this experience!

My teacher Izak is exceptional and Lalo, the owner , is incredibly professional, responsive and he cares greatly about his business/students. There are always extracurricular events such as trips of nights out and it great to build a community and friendships. The model is to have only 4 students per teacher and this makes a huge difference, furthermore, there is a curriculum on which the class is based on. So we spend a portion of the class chatting, a portion learning and the third part is to practice what we just learned. I always feel like my spanish improves after every class and I cannot say the same for the other conversational based learning.

She came highly recommended by a family member, and although we were on a waitlist for a while, it was absolutely worth it. Over the course of about 9 months, Therese worked with my son and made an incredible difference. She was patient, knowledgeable, and truly understood how to support him in a way that built both his skills and his confidence. By the end of our time with her, he had not only improved tremendously but was reading at his grade level. I can't thank Therese enough for the impact she's had on my son's learning journey. Highly recommend Learning Convergence to any family needing reading support!

** FROM STRUGGLE TO HONOR ROLL THANKS TO THERESE **…read more We turned to Therese FitzRandolph after our son finished sixth grade. At the time, it was clear he was struggling with reading comprehension and test-taking. Therese met with us in person and completed a detailed assessment. For the first time, we had a clear picture of what he needed and how he learned. They met twice a week for 50-minute sessions throughout the next school year. Therese used storytelling, repetition, and verbal cues within a structured approach that gave him tools to follow a narrative, retain detail, and speak with clarity. Their final project was the recitation of a five-paragraph story. She read it aloud once. He took notes, reconstructed it in writing, and repeated the full story back to her word for word. This was not a monologue he had practiced for weeks. It was a cold read, a memory exercise, and a comprehension challenge all at once. He accomplished it through steady work and patient, consistent guidance. As the year unfolded, his confidence grew. His reading improved, and his understanding deepened across subjects. His test scores now place him above grade level. Our son earns honor roll grades, thinks through material carefully, asks questions, and speaks with insight. While many students focus on test prep and recall, he learned to engage in real analysis and deeper comprehension of the material. Therese helped our son step into his own mind. Her approach met him where he was and made space for his strengths to emerge. He enters high school with a stronger foundation, a clearer voice, and the belief that he can succeed. We are deeply grateful.

This school is the best one where people get everything as knowledge, friends, amazing teachers,…read morewonderful stuff and so on. I used to attend different schools however, comparing to INTERNEXUS, they all are just boring places where you waste your time and money. Here, in Inernexus, I've dramatically deepened my English, especially TOEFL level. I also have an opportunity to take my TOEFL and GRE classes and to be tested here without going to other testing centers. Bryan and his crew are the best of the bests. I have no words to describe them because people should attend this place then I'm certain that they'll give a 100% of positive reviews. Thanks again to them who run, works, and attends this school.

Do not take the GRE at the Hillcrest location. I've taken several professional standardized tests…read moreover my career and I can say that this is the most unorginized testing center I've been to. The proctor was nowhere to be found when I walked into the testing center. It took about 45 minutes of waiting around before i started the exam. The exam room was very small and unreasonably crowded with other test takers. The proctor was constantly walking in and out of the test room which was very distracting. No noise cancelling headphones were provided. When I needed paper or pencils I had to physically walk into the lobby to get the proctor's attention (he was busy reading a magzine). Bear in mind other students were also getting up to do the same - which was very distracting. Overall my past experiences at other centers was superior!!! Avoid this location if possible!!!
