A helpful man guided me through which plants would look best, and how to arrange them so that they would flower during the year and provide a year round display of colour. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a plant centre in Leicester, and they will now be my first thought for anything plant related!

There is a varied menu to choose from plus a "specials" board plus a choice of vegetarian options. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and nothing seems to be too much trouble. There is also a corner set aside for toddlers and young children to play with various toys etc. There is an adjoining garden centre, food shop and gift shop in which you can browse round before or after your meal. Just opposite the entrance you will also find a butcher's shop stocked with a wide range if fresh meat. I recommend the cafe to any one and have been going there every week for several months. Ordered goods online. Agreed to a non-signature delivery as Birstall refused to deliver outside…read morenormal weekday working hours. Goods were delivered and left without signature, as agreed but were damaged. Birstall subsequently refused to replace the faulty goods, claiming that they were not liable as I had agreed to a non-signature delivery. Utter nonsense. Very unhelpful customer service. Shop elsewhere.
