First I want to start by saying that I haven't quite been able to put my finger on exactly why my…read morehusband and I were treated the way we were by Kylie Grommersch but after reading some of these reviews I see we weren't the only ones we got duped. We hired Kylie as our wedding planner based of two factors, first was because she was recommended by a friend that works for PPHG, the second was based on the several phone conversations that I had with her before finally picking a planner within our budget. Over the phone Kyle seemed friendly, engaged and super excited. She had a strong eagerness to help and I was a fool to fall for it. The excitement and prompt responses I got before I paid her and signed the contract and what we actually got were two very different experiences. Kylie not only did not fulfill a majority of the contract but she treated my husband and I like as if we we were a charity pro- bono case. We hired Kylie for month of services and paid half of the retainer fee in March 2019. We never heard a word from her until the end of August 2019. My wedding was 8/29/19. Now, I completely understand what "month of coordination" means however as a bride that was getting married in a completely different state with no knowledge of all of the details that go into planning a wedding, I would expect my planner to check in from time to time to see how things are going. Kylie never called, texted or emailed one time during the months leading up to wedding. I felt completely swindled. Once she got our money she treated us like SHIT. I had no support and I had no clue was going on with my wedding. I was stressed out and worried leading up to my wedding. This put a bad taste in my mouth from the beginning and little did I know it was a telltale sign of things to come. Not only did she not check in until maybe two weeks before our wedding. Leading up the wedding day whenever I reached out she either didn't respond or gave me an excuse that she was in meetings all day and couldn't talk. She also cancelled multiple in person meetings last minute and blamed it on personal issues such having to go to court for a custody hearing for her daughter. The first time I met Kylie was the day before my wedding. My contract with her states the following " three in person meetings". That never happened. Again I met Kylie for the first time the day before my wedding. Overall, my husband and I had a terrible experience with Kylie, luckily all of my other vendors were amazing and my wedding was beautiful. The only dark cloud was Kylie. After our wedding my family and friends mentioned how unprofessional she was. They said she looked sloppy and it seemed as if she didn't want to be there. On the wedding day she was nowhere to be found during the reception when we needed something. After returning from our honeymoon my husband and I called Kylie three times and she never called us back. We reached out because we were missing a lot of personal items that we purchased for the wedding day that I personally handed off to her the day before the wedding. The items included confetti, balloons, extra custom gold plated name plaques, rośe champagne, etc. After the wedding my family and friends mentioned how sloppy, unprofessional and disengaged she looked. On our wedding day she looked frumpy and tired and set up for our reception area reflected that, the tables were sloppy, the napkins were not folded correctly, the silverware was crooked and some of the chairs we rented were cracked and chipped up. As I was getting upstairs getting ready my bridesmaids took turns coming down to fix things behind her. During the reception a few of our floating candles were blew out and when she was asked to relight them she replied, why? they are just going to keep going out. Each time that she interacted with our guests we were told it felt forced and fake. My husband also asked that she decorate our hotel room for our wedding night with rose petals and wine to surprise me and she never did that. My husband later told me he texted her on our wedding night and she never responded. Honestly it took me a very long time to write this review because every time I thought about her and they way she treated us It made me really sad. Kylie Grommersch put a huge damper on our wedding day but luckily for us my husband and I are a strong team and we aren't easily moved by darkness.

Do not use this company ever. Kylie was incredibly responsive right up until I paid the deposit of…read more$2,000 for the Full Wedding Planner Package. After the contract was signed, it was impossible to get ahold of her. I would send her emails and text messages trying to get her feedback on ideas that I had for my wedding and I never heard anything back. One time I sent her a mood board that I myself had to put together (because she never asked me what I would like my wedding to look like) and she never responded. When I finally grew frustrated and asked her to respond to my messages, she told me that if I wanted to terminate my contract, I could, but to note that clause 16 of the contract says NO REFUNDS. So she was my wedding planner for 6 months and literally did NOTHING to help me with my special day except take $2,000 of the money I could spend towards my wedding. She has also blocked me from looking at her Instagram account after I asked her for my money back. She has caused horrible amounts of stress and unhappiness for this process. If you are looking for a planner, use literally ANYBODY ELSE!!
