I registered here as a suggestion from my mother-in-law to be - since I'm not from Monroe, I wanted…read moreto appease my new relatives, so I just registered for my same china pattern, crystal, etc. as I had done back at home. Well, my china didn't come in until after my wedding. So, instead of selling the china to customers who came to purchase something from my registry via redemption cards, or on credit, they directed them to other items throughout the store- or to their 'sister' store The Trenton House (which you cannot return items to the Muffin Tin through the Trenton House or vice versa, even though they have the same owner and even though they claim they are the same store - very confusing for a non-Monroe native.) Anyway, so when I came to return most of the things that I received in exchange for custom monogrammed china, (I mixed and matched dinner plates with a pattern and monogrammed bread and butter plates) - I was looked at rudely, when I wasn't willing to outright purchase the 4 entire place settings that had FINALLY come in post-wedding. At that time, I had enough store credit to order bread and butter plates only - once the order was placed for the b/b plates - I went on my way back home 1.5 hours away and waited for them to come in. When they finally came in - there was a discrepancy on the order form (that their employee filled out) and the staff was so rude to me- as though I was the one who filled out the form and sent it in to the company. The monogram was the font size used to engrave chargers - instead of the petite style that I had requested. The store owner insisted that this is my fault, accused me of not knowing the difference between an inch and a centimeter and refused to re-order the plates as I had requested. I was furious!!! So I was to be stuck with plates with the wrong detailing on them because they don't know how to order china correctly? My husband called back as steam was rolling out of my ears and after speaking with the manager again - after she bad-mouthed me to MY NEW HUSBAND - they finally worked out a deal where we would pay the return shipping to correct their mistake and they would cover cost of the new china - as they should- since it was THEIR mistake. Once the new, corrected plates came in - my father in law- who lives in Monroe, went to pick up the order - the owner proceeded to bad mouth me to him and said they only helped us out because He and my new Mother In Law are such good customers. So I guess without their help, I would have been screwed. I cannot believe that this store thinks this is the way to treat customers who have sent them hundreds of dollars of business, so be extremely cautious when ordering anything custom. NOT worth the headache or frustration. I am still reeling from their actions. AVOID!

I am not sure if the Woman working today was just having a bad day or what, but I've never been…read moretreated so poorly in all the years we've been using your services. We've used Monograms Unlimited for 12 years. My daughter in law brought some shirts in today to be monogrammed. She was told by a younger employee it would be 3 weeks before 6 shirts would be ready due to them having a seamstress out, and they had worked on the patches for what we needed the week previous otherwise we could have gotten them sooner. She paid, $60, the internet was down so she had to pay by Venmo. No big deal. When she got back she told me how long it would be so I called around and found someone to do what we needed sooner and went to pick up the shirts. I explained to a different younger employee that I'd like to pick the shirts up and just transfer the $60 to our account as we had some work shirts we needed done anyway. The young short haired blonde goes to get the older woman from the back. I tell the younger long haired blonde who was very polite through this whole ordeal, that I was going to run outside and get the other shirts that we wanted to have done. The woman from the back comes out, I do not know her name, brown hair in a pony tail. She comes to me and asks me what the problem is. I said there is no problem, I just want to pick up the shirts that were dropped off as I was taking them elsewhere but that I wanted to go ahead with the work shirts. She asked me why I wanted to pick up the ones we just dropped off, and I explained because I had found someone to do them sooner, and she cut me off, told me they would be done by Monday. I told her that's not what my daughter in law was told and I'd just like to pick the shirts up and get these other ones done. She said what's the rush, I mean does she need them today you just dropped them off today? I was just like can I please just have the shirts because this is what I prefer. She pushed the work shirts across the counter and said this needed to take a step back and calm down before she does any work for me, to which I replied she needed to calm down because she was acting ridiculous and I just want to pick up my daughter in laws shirts, at this point the younger staff member had gotten the shirts and put them on the counter and the woman snatched them away from me and said I said they weren't mine so I couldn't have them and she wanted me to leave and she was calling the police. I'm literally shocked at this point, and I tell her to call the police I'll call my daughter in law and she can come get them. She's yelling she's had it all on tape and I told her good play the tape! She is discussing whether or not I have a weapon with the police etc, and I am just in disbelief, I even said Lady have you lost your mind? . Fast forward, my daughter in law shows up, she refuses to release the clothes to my daughter in law and tells her to get out of the store. Like what???? Police show up, I am calm and speaking with them outside along with my daughter in law, they asked if we had gotten our clothes and we said no and told them what happened. The police came back out stated she played bits and pieces of the video with no sound, that showed them nothing. As my daughter in law is allowed back into the store to get the shirts, with the police, she tells my daughter-in-law she can't have the $60 back that's policy, and if she cancels the Venmo, she will seek legal action, and if I post on Facebook about the experience she's posting the video! Threats are pointless. I don't care if you post the video, I did nothing wrong, you got bad information from your employee and you're obviously having a bad day and you took it out on me because I chose to take 6 shirts elsewhere but had 7 more sitting there I still wanted you to do? Make it make sense! I always spend local and unfortunately you lost some long time customers today. :( My daughter in law also told her to donate the $60 to a child in need, please do that.
