The builder said it would be easy to fix and he would send the carpenter back out. Well if the carpenter didn't do it right the first time, then I want another opinion of what's wrong with it so I know what has to be done. I called Olshan. They sent Marty out in February to look under the house. He told me the work looked terrible and he didn't know what to do to fix the house. He said it hasn't even settled and he doesn't know how to fix it. He told me to get an engineer and he'll do what the engineer says, but he just walked away with no estimate or anything. At first I thought this is what these guys do. Floors and foundations. Mine are in bad shape and they don't know how to fix it? It took me a while to understand that Marty did the right thing. Honestly and integrity were the reasons for him walking away. He just didn't explain it well enough for me to understand. If the structure is built properly, and it settles, you can put it back where it needs to be. If it's built wrong to start with, you can't twist it into shape and fix it. I am the victim of a shoddy contractor. The engineer I hired said that my house does not meet minimum code requirements and that it was built so bad that it has to be torn down. It has many major structural problems. Im writing this review in August and we've only been in the brand new house 6 months now. Olshan was out right before we moved in. He realized that this house would never be right if it was built this poorly. I just didn't understand yet why they can't "fix" it. We recently had two of Olshan's competitors come out. They gave us crazy, ridiculous priced proposals for all this work to "attempt" to fix it. The contracts actually say they will attempt it. And they will not guarantee it will be level. The engineer told me this house cannot be fixed without tearing it down. Olshan's competitors want to take advantage of me for work that will not solve our problem. Marty at Olshan did the right thing. I got taken advantage of by a builder, but not by Olshan.

I immediately scheduled a time for Ryan (the owner) to come out and do an inspection for foundation repair. He did a thorough investigation and got back to me with an estimate and an explanation of all the issues that he saw. The issues were pretty extensive and it was going to involve lifting the house. Although I was nervous about the situation Ryan did alleviate a lot of my fears. From day one when the crew showed up until the last day when they finished, they were nothing but professional, respectful, knowledgeable, conscientious, well prepared, and prompt. When they left our house there was absolutely no trace that they were even here. They left everything exactly like they found it when they first arrived. I didn't get to know everyone by their name, but they were all five star, top-notch, and great quality workers. Isaac Brewer was the lead and he was inside the house a lot so I got to know him pretty well. I could tell that he took pride in his work and really cared about his customers. He and the entire crew represented WC Foundation Experts in such a way that they deserve nothing but five stars. They do excellent work using quality materials and I couldn't be happier with our improved foundation.

I used Olshan to level my house in 2022. Their salesman came and looked at all my concerns inside,…read moreand the proposal for repairs was made. Three stablizing jacks were proposed and I was told it had a transferable 25 year warranty. After thousands of dollars hiring them, they came and placed the jacks. To my surprise, the foreman was bringing out the other, much larger jacks when they were finished. Instead of adjusting the jacks I was never even told were already there, I was sold on these. I proceeded with the renovation of tens of thousands of dollars, I noticed cracks in the new tile above where they placed their "much better jacks." When I called, I was told I had a year warranty and it had expired. No solution was offered. Other companies wouldn't touch their "subpar" equipment. Fast forward a couple of years, their thousands of dollar proposal wasn't even the solution to the problem to begin with, only a small part, and now ineffective. Their jacks weren't stabilized and not even touching the beam. The small concrete pads they placed them on, which were merely placed on top of the ground, had sunk into the ground with the pressure and were doing nothing. They removed jacks that were only needing adjusting and put it a failing system. What the salesman (inspector) says when he's here and what this company actually does are two different things. Completely dishonest!!! Now, I've had three more companies look at it and every one of them found the actual solution without being told what the one before them proposed. I may add it was NOT what Olshan proposed for years ago. I wasted thousands on their overpriced solution and lost tens of thousands more because their system failed after the renovation. If you like starting over and throwing your money away, go for it. No integrity!!!! Beware!!
