I then contacted Dr. Barefoot's office who told me the procedure was covered under my insurance and thus, I went with Dr. Barefoot. Dr. Barefoot requires upfront payment for procedures. They will then file with your insurance company and reimburse you the money they receive from the insurance company. After filing the claim, I was told by my insurance company that the procedure was not covered and no money would be paid to Dr. Barefoot. The insurance company also put in writing that the amount charged for the procedure was 2X the typical cost for the area that I live. Dr. Barefoot's office refused to assist or provide a refund. I would suggest finding a different doctor who cares more about patient care than profit.

One thing I have noticed about all of the doctors I've been to, 13 of them is you have to call them and remind them that you are waiting on their quote. I had to do this with every single company. You go in they x-ray you and tell you they will give you a call and you don't hear from them. It is so crazy. It's like a service that you will have to pay a lot of money for yet you have to sweat them to get the service. I have to pay you the price that looks like a ZIP code and beg you for the service? Crazy. This place quoted me $16,000. I need 4 implants up top with five extractions. There's nothing different or special about them. Or any other company for that matter. It's all about who has the better pricing. The person who recommended me likes their work so that's the best I can tell you about that. But I hate the fact that I have to call them several times to remind them I was there and I needed a price for my work. Completely unprofessional. Also they scheduled their procedures around 1 anesthesia. If I remember correctly the person that does the anesthesia does not even live in Charleston. They just come in for a procedures. So if this person is busy or not around you may have to wait a month or two for their schedule. So it is based on the schedule of Dr barefoot and the schedule of the person that does anesthesia. Makes no sense to me. I guess this is the only person they trust. Please read all my reviews on trying to find a company for dentures. Very helpful.

Lower lip droops now. Eating has been problematic. Still experience discomfort. The final prosthesis is nothing like I was shown in the office numerous times. It is just like the temporary that fit over my lower jaw and not at the gum line like a regular All-On-4 . I was shown an All-On-4 many times and told that would be my final.
