My son said the employee strapped him in the harness so tightly that the zip line was the worst. That is usually his favorite attraction. Not all Urban Air locations are like this. Our local Urban Air is very nice, clean and staff are so helpful and friendly. p.s. If your kid is a jerk please keep them at home.

There are a lot more for the younger crowd than other parks around the area. The go karts and batting cages are a nice addition. There's a parking lot right behind and next to the park, so no searching for parking. There's a waterpark across the street, Runaway Rapids. We can't wait until the summer to go. It's so much fun. They have some great slides and features.

Also the Candy Factory they have wasn't opened, reason when we asked .... Short staffed. They had a sign up on the front entrance saying we are short staffed. We didn't notice the sign . It was small and not on the door we entered. Your spending money expecting what you're paying for is going to be there. I did approach the staff person who checks everyone in. I have to say she was very apologetic and gave his 4 free passes for the next visit. I'm not there to get anything for free , I'm there for my grandkids to enjoy themselves. Some of the staff would let her on on a ride she was declined earlier, so I guess it depends on the operater of the ride. You can pay for your park entrance fee with a card but $5 Cash All Day Parking (this parking let's you go to the water park, amusement park and the beach) $11 Cash for a locker at the water park and you get $5 back when you return the key. $$Cash money for food at the water park. The food there looked better than the food at the amusement park. Guess which one we had? #3 What to bring inside. The lockers are not that big. Standard small-medium sized lockers. Like 1 large back pack will fit (the size of 2 shoe boxes). No food is allowed but nobody was checking bags. They sell fried foods, dippin dots and frozen drinks. No salads or fruits and vegetables were sighted. Bring your own towels, sunscreen, toiletries for a shower afterwards if you want. Water shoes or flip flops. A lot of folks were walking around barefoot. That's not my cup of tea but they did. You do not have to rent a space or chairs. It's included. Some people just drop their towels, flip flops and sunscreen at the chairs and go have fun. You leave your valuables in the lockers. We spent 2 hours here. I have 2 teens and they were happy. We wanted to go to a water park that was not as intense as one that we visited years ago. There's a kiddie water park side and LIFE VESTS for the little ones! There are weight limits on all the slides so some of us had to go on only some of the slides due to the weight restrictions. That's fine. We loved the lazy river. There are no pools where you can just chill and swim back and forth, do cannon balls or diving. There are restrooms and showers in the park. There is a small fee for those people that do not want to get wet and they will just watch and get some sun in. It's called a spectator fee. The waiting times in line for a water slide was not long at all. I really like that. It's basic, very basic but we liked it for what it was worth. The amusement park is more suited for little kids, elementary age.

It was only a few years ago that the waterfront was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy and the restoration is beautiful. The NYC skyline is not your only view. Keansburg Amusement Park and Runaway Rapids Waterpark is right there too and in the summer offers fun views of the park! Look out for their dog friendly event, Bark in the Waterpark, in September!
