Dr. Haug is a good back-cracker, but by no means is it worth the hundreds of dollars he'll charge you. His receptionist told me on the phone my initial visit would cost $127, but when I went to pay it was $195. The extra cost was for the x-ray he took and the use of his electric stimulation machine. He was well aware that I had no insurance, didn't make make much money, and was losing wages because of my hurt back. Yet, he failed to mention the additional costs either of these services would cost me. I am fairly certain he intentionally did not inform me about the extra costs because he knew I would opt to forgo them, putting less money in his pocket. Somehow, despite all this, I went back for a second visit, and having learned my lesson from the first visit I made sure to receive no additional services other than an adjustment. At the end of the appointment, when I told Dr. Haug I did not want the electric stimulation therapy he became silent and sullen, handed me paperwork to give the receptionist, and just walked out of the room. Dr. Haug was unprofessional, and can barely disguise his true motives for cracking your back: to get as much money out of you as possible. read more
