We went to this new fancy sushi place, which had rumoured to have pretty darn good sushi.
At arrival, we went in to this place, that looked like a small sushi place, which only did take away; but at the far right is a staircase that took us upstairs to the restaurant itself, which had an amazing atmosphere and felt somewhat classy. Arriving at our table, our expectations we're raised a lot, looking at the fine pottery for the soya and general style of the room.
The menu had a great variety of things, and as we wanted sushi, we only went for sushi-related items. At the time, they had a 12 piece chefs choice nigiri menu, which was absolutely amazing. It ranged from the classic salmon and yellow-tail, to things like eel and local shrimp. We also went for a roll they called "sizzling salmon", which was near the best sushi roll I have ever had. It had a unique combination of ingredients and gave a little tasting-experience I defenitely hadn't tried before.
All in all, an absolutely amazing experience and definitely a place I will go back to, multiple times and I have already recommended it to several friends. read more
