The shop was bright and clean. Lots of products to view and purchase. Lots of items I haven't seen in other dispensaries like: glass cleaners and ultra heavy high quality flower pipes. Lots of deals for flower. The sole budtender was efficient. We purchased a preroll pack and there was some confusion as we were told we could pick strains of the pack and in the end we got a pack with one strain. Not a huge deal but a little disappointing. Overall we would definitely return.

I was super happy about the amount of concentrates and cartridges they have so much. I grabbed some kief from Green Go which is one of my favorite grow houses. Everything I've had from them from flower to concentrate and everything in between is potent and high quality. The kief was a nice addition to sprinkle on top of a bowl or in a blunt. To be fair, it is definitely one of the best stores in Alaska and I've just about to every freaking one of them. I would say it's only surpassed by the new place in Soldotna; prior to discovering the place in Soldotna, it was our opinion that Denail 420 was the best we've uncovered. The store is sprawling, they have all varieties and permutations of cannabis AND paraphernalia. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It's nice that the store is oriented side ways, so you have some privacy if you don't want people knowing your business about where you're shopping. Their hours are also well extended beyond most other places in the bowl. Only bummer is Houston has a city tax in addition to the state tax, so factor in a few extra dollars beyond the listed prices. Prices are still pretty much on par. We like this place and expect they will do quite well, especially once they expand into growing. Like all places in Alaska, cash only.

Flash pictures can make just about any old strain look decent. What I'm looking for is good flavor and smell, a well flushed flower and of course it needs to pack a punch. First off 50 bucks for an 1/8 is a much better price than 18 (sale prices) to 20-25 bucks for a gram. Now I will smoke some of what I got and give a better review....1 hour later: The strain we decided to try tonight is called Termination Dust heh. I have a weird breaking up ritual, I use scissors. I get asked why don't I use a grinder but some people get it and think it's neat-O speedo. I like to feel it and get a good sense of it's texture while I'm breaking it up. This strain is nice and chocolaty smelling, indica dominant, and is just dry enough, fairly sticky and trichrome covered. Very nice so far. Let's taste it. .. I got the green hit. It was very smooth and clean tasting. I could taste a bit of chocolate and herbal if I'm not wrong. I could immediately feel the effects 2 minutes into the first hit giving my body super relaxation and I know if my lid is lifted off this quickly, there's going to be a nice body high coming. Ideally because the price is really fair, I believe I will try more strains from here. Their hours are good too. Great prices and store hours that work for me will probably have me coming back again. Very excited to try more and I highly recommend.
