Hat Creek Carriers was the contractor involved in shipping my car across the country as a result of a relocation package we got with a new employer. The chain of command went Altair, then Hat Creek, then Starway for this specific transaction. My car was shipped in June 2015 and the driver was over 2 hours late (with no communication from either this company or the subcontractor) to pick it up at the point of origin. The car arrived at the destination a few days later. It was never communicated to me that the driver and companies involved were actually responsible for damaging the tail light of my car (I am told it is just the tail light; however, upon inspection, there are also more scratches, the tail light is still loose, and there is bubbling now to the back paint of my car near the left tail light area). I will NEVER actually know what happened to my car while Hat Creek and Starway were responsible for it. The car was actually missing after we arrived at the point of destination, again with NO communication from Hat Creek, Altair, or Starway regarding the actual location of my car (we thought it was just being stored and had no idea why we couldn't get it delivered or picked up). About a week later, we were finally informed of the location of what I thought was a parking lot about 30 miles away from my house. It was actually a repair shop and when I called, I was told "my car will be done later today." I had no idea at that point that my car had been damaged. Stand clear. I'd hate to see how they are treating their customers. They are floating money to pay us truckers. I delivered a car on the 7th of December. 15 day pay.. Payment due on the 29th. Been promised 4 times the money would be deposited into the bank account... Still have nothing was told it was in the mail... I'll be lucky to get it now by January 7th. The check is for more than a grand too. It's really sad because they use to be a good company now they are nothing but a bunch of unrighteous liars total scum. Don't make promises that you can not keep thanks for making my bills late and my kids now have to wait for Christmas even longer because you have been borrowing thus money from me now! We have done business in the past and never had a problem, now we have 2 outstanding invoices from January 2017, we have faxed, e-mailed, called and sent statements to no avail. i no longer will do business with them and have filed a report with the better business bureau. if i don't receive payment immediately i will send them to collections. as a business owner i take pride in paying my bills timely. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. My fiance's vehicle was picked up on December 28th from Fayetteville, AR to be delivered to him in Kelso, WA. Over the next few weeks, they dragged him around and lied repeatedly - saying there was bad weather delaying the driver, that the driver had too many deliveries and was too busy to make it, that the driver was being too difficult and not talking to them - all for us to find out almost an entire month later that his car had been sitting in a lot in Denver, CO ever since it was picked up. Rather than try to make it right and deliver his vehicle to him right away, they're trying to send the car back to Arkansas. TODAY they told him that the car was in Springdale, AR, about fifteen minutes away from me, and that it would be delivered to me today. After just speaking with their representative on the phone, they claim that the driver is too booked up to deliver his vehicle this evening and that they'll have it delivered tomorrow morning instead. At this point, I just hope we get his car back, but I'm doubtful of even that! DO NOT, FOR ANY REASON, FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME, FOR ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY, DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. read more

Don't use this transport company! They seem very professional but they're not loyal to there customers and subcontract carriers. They owe a lot of money to all the hard working carriers that transported there vehicles nation wide and don't plan to pay. Carriers, only accept cod or cop payment from them. It's been 4 months since we should've received payment from them and probably won't. To all, stay away from this mafia. read more
