But when you work with families navigating the loss of a loved one, there should be a basic level of professionalism, compassion, and respect. Instead, I was made to feel like a burden for asking reasonable questions about a process I was paying him to handle. Losing my mother was already an incredibly painful experience. His lack of professionalism and compassion added unnecessary stress and hurt during an already difficult time.
