The people, views and food were lovely. Hubby had their vegetarian pizza, stepson's choice was the cheeseburger meal which was made with locally sourced beef. As for me, I was feigning for rice so I opted for their satay (beef and chicken) appetizer which came with rice. Yes, please. My stepson also tried their beer which he enjoyed. The utensils were presented in such pretty souvenir packets - nice touch! Prices were reasonable for Switzerland standards. Our waiter (who was also the bartender) was awesome. He was incredibly pleasant and friendly. I can tell people come back there and he's part of the reason why. Fun fact I learned from Pokémon Go: the cable car at this restaurant is the original from an 007 movie, In Her Majesty's Secret Service. How's that for cool stuff?
Loved the variety of utensil packets

Pretty generic, "American" menu but everything we had was great and came out quick. We hiked 12 miles and this was a great place for a nice beer and some basic pasta varieties. This is a perfect place for a family and dogs are allowed everywhere inside the restaurant. The owner, I believe speaks Spanish and English and not Swiss German but she was wonderful and ran the restaurant alone when it was completely full. You order at the counter and it is basically a self service spot but it was a nice little spot tucked away in the small downtown.

The bartender is really friendly and helpful; I just ordered whatever drinks she suggested and they were amazing! We stopped here for a drink after doing the cliff walk and trottie biking. The pork skin…read morewas crunchy and yummy, paired with mashed potato's, red cabbage sauerkraut, and gravy... you could tell that it was with great technique! Not to dry and my parents loved it -- they are the kind who are pretty picky when it comes to any sort of American/german/etc food. The pork ribs were yummy with a tangy bbq sauce on it but a bit dry. The fries/chips were so yummy though! The bratwurst was not that great and $22. It came with a weird potatoes square salad and the same red cabbage sauerkraut. Overall, it was a meal well spent. $122 for 4 people which is so worth. Odd thing is they did have a "restaurant" tax of $8 which I have never seen at other Swiss restaurants. Service was good. Ambience felt like a sports bar, and the wait before 5pm was not bad at all Would recommend if yall like meat and potatoes!

I got their nachos. I will admit I didn't like them, but I'm used to south Texas type of nachos. The salsa was sweet and the chips looked seasoned, but the flavor was lacking. I didn't try their beer. Prices are about the same as all the restaurants nearby. You'll spend $20-$30 for your dish.
