I was in Jekyll Island for a conference and we had candy at our trait booth. The attendees ate all of the candy the very first day and I needed to run out to the grocery store and buy more. I chose the Harris Teeter on Saint Simons because it was a familiar brand. I ended up getting a foot-long sub and had half for dinner that night and then saved the other half for another evening. I randomly was driving around the island and went to the Jekyll Island club, which was absolutely gorgeous. I went back the next day with my leftover sub from the hotel refrigerator and had a picnic under the beautiful several hundred years old white oak trees. It was such a special moment that I had to take pictures. It was an ideal picnic.

Knowing the system well, I ordered a full Boar's Head ham and swiss on the seeded bun with deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. It was made just right and sliced neatly in half. I grabbed a can of iced tea from the cooler, checked out quickly, and headed back to my campervan.
