The shop is always well stocked with a variety of childrens toys, including some you are unlikely to find in many supermarkets. Reasonably priced, this would be the ideal place to purchase a child's Christmas present. How the shop survives the rest of the year I do not know, but it always seems to be fairly bustling, so I suggest combining a visit with a trip to Waitrose or something. It's not worth heading in to town for a visit alone, but be sure to bear it in mind.

The prices are pretty variable, as some things are pricey, but other things seem to be very cheap. It's worth keeping an eye out for their regular sales and special offers, as you can get some very good deals. The shop is in two sections. One contains dolls, My Little Ponies, fluffy toys and that type of girly girl toy, and the other half is more like a standard toy shop. They supply a good range off toys suitable for tiny babies right up to more adult items like board games and remote controlled toys. They have a website too, but remember that the prices online are rarely the same as the instore prices, and the special offers are different. If you need to ask questions, make sure you get the right staff member, as the weekenders don't seem to know as much as the long standing staff members.
