A lovely find! My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our way to the park. They have lots of fresh food for eating in or taking away. I had a Greek salad with lots of crunchy greens, tomatoes, oregano, and feta cheese with a homemade dressing. I also picked up a butternut squash soup with pumpkin seeds, and a fromage blanc with raspberry coulis. That, plus a San Pellegrino and my husband's focaccia sandwich ran us 15,50€. The salad and soup were really tasty and the fromage blanc was fine. My husband said his sandwich was good but a little small. I ordered a macchiato to go afterwards and it was better than most cafe coffee but nothing fancy.
The server was very nice and even filled up my daughter's sippy cup behind the counter and offered to warm it up if we needed to make formula. Oh and added bonus: the bathroom was modern and very clean.
I'm often by the park and in need of food so I'll be back to Harvel's again, I'm sure. read more
