WORST CLEANING EVER!!! This was my 2nd visit to this office. I had a cleaning here and the dental hygienist was so rough during my cleaning. She started scraping away with the tools even before using a scaler. Never had a cleaning in that order. She was this older Korean lady, DO NOT GO TO HER. I let it slide. And now I have all of these issues on my gums!!! I went in for an after care after I noticed a scar on my gum. The dentist did not even apologize for his team scraping my gums. He told me to just use salt water. And now I notice a white bump on the other side of my gum. And my gums overall look torn. Absolutely unprofessional. And the worse cleaning of my life. I have been getting professional cleaning my whole life. Never ever had this issue with my gums getting fucked up after a cleaning. Another thing to note, I noticed the station I was at, there were a bunch of Invisalign trays outside where I was getting my teeth cleaned. So unprofessional and disorganized. Today was my first visit at Haru Dental and I loved them. I had been following them on Instagram (no idea how I found them) but after not being happy with my previous dentist, I decided to reach out. I sent an inquiry on their website over the weekend and they contacted me Monday, and scheduled my appt for today, 2 days later. The office aesthetic is clean and beautiful. I arrived and was immediately led to a room- Angela was the dental hygienist that did my cleaning and she was excellent. My teeth feel great! Dr. Lee did a quick exam after my cleaning and said all was good and to come back in 6 months. I really loved this dental office- everyone is quick, efficient, and to-the-point. I have very limited time and it was nice to be in and out in about an hour. They also did a good job. I didn't feel that way about my previous dentist. Parking is super easy. They have their own lot. I was overdue for my dental cleaning and my husband, who has been getting his teeth cleaning here for years. There are so many dentists near me and this office is located almost 15 miles from my house. He told me to call them soon, because they are always booked quickly and hard to make an appointment. I luckily could make an appointment because someone just canceled. Everyone here is so friendly and really cares about their patients. Angela, who cleaned my teeth, was very gentle and professional. I've been going to Haru Dental for a few months now and Dr. Sul has been amazing! She's very gentle in everything she does and takes genuine care in making sure you get better. Super impressed by the quality of care I received at this dental office. Great overall experience getting a dental cleaning. Dr. Christiana patiently answered all my questions. The front desk and tech staff were also very friendly and the office is beautifully designed. Complimentary beverages are in the waiting room. This place tries to look professional, but dont fall for the hype. My husband came in for a dental check-up and cleaning and had to wait forever to be seen. Also, the Dr diagnosed 7 fillings, which is ABSURD, so we went for a 2nd opinion elsewhere, and it turns out he didn't have any cavities whatsoever. Nobody likes going to the dentist. Im not going to lie and say I enjoy coming here. It's a necessary torture. I want to get in, get my teef looked at, and gtfo with the least amount of time/pain/lockjaw. You don't get the sense that they care about your fears here, but you do know they care about one thing: your pearly whites. They will care for your teeth like it's a small child: firm, tender at times, but when they need to show who's boss, there is no denying it- Dr. Lee, the hygienists, everyone - they will get u in, handle your teeth, and send you off as efficiently as possible. That is what I want and need in a dentist. Throw in a super slick spaceship office with the nicest front desk gal (amber), and that's an automatic 5 star. I truly believe my teeth are in the best hands. I'm about 40%of the way through my Invisalign and my teeth looks so damn straight I feel like its witchcraft. read more

I was giving a Christmas giftcard my first visit there with treatment and a holiday calendar. The doctors were all nice. I had a consultation with Dr. JW Lee for ortho and treatments with Dr. Chris and Dr. Yoo. They didn't try to oversell a deep cleaning or extra cavities and unnecessary treatment. This was the best experience I've had at a dental office. I usually get a lot of anxiety going to the dentist but this office was so patient and empathetic to my needs and comfort. The standouts for me are the super clean and brand new office. It looks more like an art gallery or modern office space. They put a clean cloth over your face for comfort which was really helpful. The pricing was great with my insurance. They give you free snacks and tea/coffee and the customer service was excellent. They only take PPO. Definitely try their new location by Torrance Bakery. It's amazing! Also shoutout to Dr. Yoo for standing the whole time I was getting a filling. I had really bad morning allergies and every time the chair went low I couldn't breath with the suction.
