C'mon Inn - Beautiful indoor courtyard

What a nice place to stay. I agree with other reviews that the staff goes above and beyond on their…read moreservices. My family of 6 (ages 16+) stayed in 2 separate courtyard rooms. Both rooms were immaculately clean. I often have allergic reactions to hotel rooms, and I never experienced so much as a stuffy nose. We stayed for 8 days. Our first night we noticed a slow leak from the base of the toilet which we notified the front desk the next morning. Since it was Sunday, they wouldn't be able to get a professional out until Monday. They offered our money back for that night (which we declined) moved us as soon as housekeeping turned over the room next door and helped us move that afternoon. The rest of our stay was great. The atrium has a resort feel with high, open ceilings, a beautiful salt-water aquarium, comfortable plush leather chairs and couches with ottomans, plenty of dining tables with comfortable chairs, a hot & cold breakfast bar, and a clean, well-lit meeting room. The second floor courtyard rooms have balconies with a table & chairs that overlook it. The pool area was very, VERY clean with NONE of the usual mildew one tends to see in the corners or in grout. The hot tub is so nice after our hotel-sponsored working outs at the Sanford fitness center next door. That center is so nice, we gladly increased our 30 minutes workouts to over an hour. Even though the pool was in continual use on the weekends, we never really heard the kids who were splashing and playing in the pool. There are a few nitpicky things I would like to see: more available outlets in the room for charging electronics. We had to reach under the desk to plug in our computers, and only had one outlet to plug into. There was one end table with a single outlet for a room that slept 4. Thankfully, we all had implements to expand the outlets. Drawers in the bathroom would also be nice but are not strictly necessary. We had 3 people's toiletries crowding the vanity. Granted, the vanity was large enough to handle it all. FYI for people wanting to stay in a courtyard room. There is no natural sunlight to wake you up. Also, please remember to close your curtains when you are changing. Our family will definitely stay here again whenever we visit family.

Management can not be trusted. Made a reservation for a room with king size bed. Recent heart…read moresurgery so I needed a recliner for the evening. When we checked in we were told we had been demoted to a room with double beds, hence no recliner. Told it was the managers decision, no reason given other than that. Very few rooms had been rented judging by the lot. Apparently someone more important needed a king. Management had no right to switch rooms on us.

I liked two things about this hotel: the carpet and the fact that you can get 100% darkness with…read morethe curtains closed. The room was large and the king bed was comfortable. I only stayed one night. Location is excellent next to a good restaurant bar and Grill. Easy parking. The hotel was clean. Large TV of course.

Ok, a couple of red flags with this place. #1, the rooms are old. (see photos) They need a major…read morerefresh. The beds seemed clean, but the walls were not, and there were spiderwebs in the corner of the room (room 151 BTW) #2. The hotel manager LIVES in the hotel. Remember that VRBO commercial with ex-Alabama football coach Nick Saban? That is what she (the manager) was like. (Coach Saban's line: No fun. No games....LOL) She made sure, right at the minute of check-in, that fun and games were strictly prohibited. For example, not only was the pool closed at 10pm (which is fine) you were not allowed to sit at any of the tables in the sitting area next to the pool - even if you were quiet. it was 9:59pm and she came thru kicking adults out of the pool are who were simply visiting together in the area. Not being loud, nothing unruly.....just conversation. Didn't matter. Why was she so strict about it? Well she LIVES there. It's a problem, and a major conflict of interest. Saturday afternoon a young boy knocked on every door walking down the hallway - a bored kid I guess. The manager put the entire hotel on warning/lockdown. It was completely absurd. Also, the continental breakfast was not edible. Coffee was the worst (extremely watered down) I've had in years, 1 star on that as well. I cannot stress this enough: I wouldn't stay here under any exceptions unless you are 80+ years old, are blind, and go to bed at 6pm.

Holy f**k. I've never in my 64 years of life experienced anything of this nature. If I could give…read morethis -5 stars I would. When I walked in I immediately smelt cigarette smoke, and got excited thinking there was a casino nearby, but then saw a no smoking sign so not sure what happened there. There was a lady at the desk who helped me out, nice lady, handed me a key (not a keycard, a physical key) and a roll of toilet paper? I was immediately sketched out but surely this had to be better than the bushes that I usually sleep in behind the Fox 21 station in Duluth MN. I was wrong. I walk into this "2 bedroom" room, 2 full sized beds, a 2ftx2ft bathroom, a small closet with a hole in the ceiling, cords running through holes in the walls, and a stank ass stink. I felt as though I was about to sleep in some sort of sex trafficking dungeon. It felt straight out of the Epstein Files. I slept in a hooded sweatshirt and jeans, with socks on and my hood up because I was not about to contract whatever diseases lied beneath the sheets. DO NOT STAY HERE. I swear on everything I love I thought this was my last night alive.

Bottom line, it shouldn't matter where I am from and you can treat people how you like, we just don't have to come back and give you more business!
