The short of it is, they did an outstanding job, were a pleasure to work with through both the design and construction phases, and we are completely satisfied with their work. The work was completed almost to the day they'd initially estimated, and there were no cost overruns or disputes. We researched a handful of other contractors and IKB was the most reasonably priced. We first learned of them through neighbors who had used and recommended them. Here are some additional observations for those who want more details: Through the design phase, they offered a variety of options, and their CAD images provided a helpful visual sense of the these considerations. While they came with ideas, they were also very receptive to our design inputs and readily incorporated them into the final design. Their proposed fee was the most reasonable we received from the handful of other contractors from which we got bids. They were very good at problem solving to achieve desired outcomes. Everyone of their team was professional and pleasant to deal with. The quality of their work was top notch. And because it is such a visible aspect of a bathroom, I'll mention their tiling craftsman's work is outstanding. We wanted to incorporate some bold color tiles. That expert was able to make helpful suggestions for how to arrange those for very nice results, and his execution and grout work are just beautiful. Prior to this bathroom renovation, we'd used IKB to build an externally-exhausting duct for our kitchen stove and also install the exhaust fan. They did this work quickly, affordably, and the result is great. They will be our first choice for any future remodeling jobs.

I was in a desperate fix. It would have been easy for any contractor to try to gouge someone in my situation. Elements not only gave us a reasonable price, they did the job very well and finished it with days to spare. They had interest-free financing available for us to bridge the gap while we refinanced our home to pay for the work. They were even willing to talk to my insurance company/State Board of Insurance if it would have helped. In other words, they owned my problem without any obligation to do so. Home Contractors are famous for being flaky and doing crummy work. It's a horrible industry. Elements Home Remodeling seems to have a great business model. "Do good work and be obvious about doing so. The contrast will bring in business". I cannot recommend EHR enough. Really.

He also rebuilt the deck on my townhouse, managed the whole process (permits, etc) and I know the house will fall long before the deck sees any wear and tear.

We hired Sandro to dig out and underpin a basement (with full gut reno as a separate unit), renovate several bathrooms, and completely redo a backyard/patio. Having someone literally dig out your foundation while you live there is a harrowing experience. But SVC exceeded our expectations. Not only were SVC's prices far more affordable than the nearest bid by a huge margin, but they completed every task up to my high standards. Sandro was always flexible when we decided to make changes to the plan. And he was amazingly good at anticipating questions ahead of time and making sure that he had our input when necessary. Sandro handled all aspects of the renovation including the design, architectural drawings, permitting, sourcing materials, and building. Only the structural engineering was outsourced (to a structural engineer). My only complaint is that the project took slightly longer than estimated. Hard to fault too much, since this is the nature of the business. If you are on the fence, choose Sandro and SVC. It will be the best decision you make in your reno. We had quotes from other plumbers that were lower but went with this contractor because he had done a previous job. We are very extremely unhappy with the shoddy work he did. The plumbing was not changed. The main job was to change the plumbing. He gave us assurances that he would change the plumbing, but he never did. He put in the cheapest tub and the thinnest plastic surround. We had asked for links to the tub and surround so we could see ahead of time what would be put but this contractor never sent the links and showed up with the cheapest materials.
