We've used Hartmann for the last year and a half we've lived in the area. I want to thank Tammy for always being kind and professional on the phone. We also want to thank Chuck and Dustin. These guys rock. They take the time to find the real issues w/the irrigation, they keep us up on everything as they go along, they're very thorough, professional and friendly. Chuck has even shared some tips for our tropical fruit trees. They also offer a no-charge call back policy too- if they have to come back for an issue they've already addressed, there's no charge. We have an older home with a sprinkler system that is at least 10 years old. Technician Tony, from Hartman, was working next door and I asked if he would take a look at the leak I had and the shoddy wiring from the previous work. Meanwhile, I went inside to call the main Hartman number and I spoke with the owner Walter. Nice guy and he set me up for work within two days. By the time I got back outside Tony had already diagnosed the problem! The very next day Tony came out and repaired the system and explained the work to me. Hartmann Irrigation - Great repair of older system. - Irrigation Near Me - Merritt Island, Florida

My grass was looking a bit dry so I checked my sprinkler system. The pump seemed to be working fine but there was no water flow. I called Hartmann because of good reviews. They were scheduled up but managed to squeeze us in within a couple of business days. Long story short, Chuck came out and fixed the intake pipe from our retention pond, floated it, and replaced the check valve at the pump. He also replaced 6 clogged sprinkler heads. Charges were fair and the system is as good as new. These are my guys from now on. read more

I NEVER write reviews, as a Military Member, having much more important things to do while home. However, after what has just occured with Hartmann Irrigation, I must inform all of the way in which things went down, and YOU can be the judge. I contacted Harmtann to request a service, as our irrigation pump had failed and rusted out. When I called on Monday of the first week in April, Tammy indicated there would be no possible way to complete the work that week, due to other jobs that were booked, and the following Monday or Tuesday would be when their Tech could get to our house. So, out of nowhere, on a Saturday Afternoon, with no advance notice, the tech showed up. We were preparing to head to dinner with family, but since the tech showed up, needed to standby until install. The Tech started looking around for a screw gun, as the power relay box, of which was already on the wall, needing replacing also. He spent some time looking around his truck, and then after a while, said he had the gun in the morning, but must have left it at another job. So, what he does is call his apprentice to bring a screw gun, of which was ultimately never used. His apprentice did nothing other than attempt to remove a few wires and dig up 4 valve boxes- 15 minutes work being generous. The rest of the time, he just stood by, and observed, just like me. The Tech then makes a statement to me that 5 of my 8 zones are no good. I informed him they were working fine until the irrigation pump failed, and stated they were fine. He told me I did not know what I was talking about, and tried to bet me $100 that he was right, and told me I was wrong. I declined, but disagreed with him. Then, after installing the pump with a 3 8 inch pieces of new PVC and 3 connectors, and a new Bib, fired up the pump after priming for 20 minutes. All zones worked pefectly, and walked around telling me on each zone I had a few bad heads that did not rotate. He then gives me a bill, including charging me for the apprentice, who did nothing except noted above. I called Hartmann on his cell, but he did not pick up, so the office manager Tammy picked up. She stated that she also questioned the bill, and informed me that she would either give me a refund of 2 hours or give me a credit of 2 hours. I told her that there was some other work on one zone, along with installing a few new heads was necessary, so I agreed for the 2 hours of credit over the phone, at which time she stated the tech would then be out on Friday to do the work. Then, on Friday, received a call, and was informed that it was Good Friday, and they decided they decided to take the day off, and would be set up next week for the work. I never received a call back, nor any tech for 2 weeks, and when finally Tammy picked up the phone today, I asked her what is going on as had received 1) no phone call to reschedule. Knowing she dropped the ball on my job, she makes a statement that she did not know if i wanted the work to be done. I became frustrated at this statement, because it made no sense. We had already agreed over the phone that I would accept the 2 hours credit, and they could do the work. Further, She had left a message, of which i still have on my voicemail, that they were coming out next week due Good Friday they were not going to work. At this point, she became defensive, trying to cover her miserable failure of basic customer service and scheduling. I stated would you not agree that you were to do the work, as i accepted the 2 hours credit, and she had already scheduled me for the work, but cancelled late Thursday night for Good Friday. At that point, she bacame nasty and physco on the phone, saying she would not agree. Not agree? Really? Not agree with what i still hold on my voicemail of HER call to cancel and to reschedule, which she never did FOR 2 WEEKS! No call, no communication, and no retun call! it is normal, basic customer service courtesy and practice for any company, if you cancel a service, that you would be the first to receive the service, but nothing from this company. No call back, no admission of her own failure of service, and no apology. Just acting like a child would, and when you do something wrong, and are caught, you try and hurt the person even more, never admitting their own fault. Very disappointed with this company and their lack of basic customer service,inflated charges, and not having basic tool necessary to do the job, that ultimately was not even used. Robby G. A couple of weeks ago I had the occasion of having Hartmann Irrigation fix an issue with one of the solenoid valves on my sprinkler system. They came highly recommended when I asked for recommendations on the Wake Up Cocoa Beach Facebook page. I had been using a different company (yep - I'll name them... Sprinkler Repair, Inc.) but was finally fed up with their horrible and rude service, with them continually cancelling/rescheduling appointments, and with their ridiculously exorbitant prices. As promised when I scheduled the appointment, the technician called me when he was on his way to my house. Dustin was the technician and he was excellent! He quickly identified and explained the problem with the valve and within short order had it fixed. After that, he went around and checked the entire system including the timer to make sure everything was in good working order. Not only was Dustin on point with his technical skill and ability, but he was genuinely a really friendly and nice guy. As far as Hartmann's pricing goes; I found it to be very reasonable and completely fair. I'll put it this way; when the previous company was out in October to do the same exact thing Hartmann did on this visit, their price was three times higher. In talking with Dustin, I asked him what Hartmann charged for things such as a solenoid valve and a timer. He told me. I then showed him the receipts for what the previous company charged. Dustin literally gasped in disbelief. For the valves, the previous company's price was over 150% higher than Hartmann. For the timer, the previous company's price was nearly 180% higher than Hartmann. But what really torqued me was the valves the other company sold me for WELL over $100 each are apparently the cheapest such valve on the market (which having to replace them four times in three years now makes sense) which they pay less $20 for. I'm all for a company charging a fair price and making a fair profit, but what the previous company is charging isn't even in the ballpark of fair. It's complete and total robbery! I hired Hartmann Irrigation about 18 months ago to repair sprinkler system at new home and was disappointed with service. Despite the unsat experience, elected not to write any reviews. Decided to give them another chance about a month ago. Tried contacting them through their web site and via email and received no responses. I called them about 2 weeks ago and talked to Walter. He said he'd call back in a few days to schedule a visit. Still haven't heard from them. Friends speak highly of Hartmann's, but my experience with them has been horrible. Sadly, they have little competition in this area. Got a call back from Hartmann and had a very good conversation. Satisfied my main concern with lack of communications. I'll get them back out soon to assess some continuing issues with lawn coverage. Very appreciative of them reaching out. read more

I had a very old artesian well that had started leaking in the backyard. Ashley came the same day I called to take a look at it, then he came back the next morning to take care of it.
