I already had homeowners and auto insurance but felt I was paying too much, so I decided to shop around. I requested several quotes through Yelp, including Hartgrove Insurance. Shannon was the first to respond via email, and we quickly chatted on the phone. I was really impressed at how quickly she responded and zoned in on exactly what I needed. I felt other agents who contacted me were trying to sell me a policy that wasn't necessarily best for my situation. Not Shannon - she took all my information very efficiently, and within the SAME DAY, she had some quotes for me. For one of my policies, she actually told me that what I was paying for was a good deal (I sent her my current policy statement so that she could see my premiums and coverage). I was completely floored that she was so honest with me. Then, for my second policy quote, she gave me a well priced, solid option. She explained the coverage thoroughly. I was able to negotiate a lower premium with my existing carrier once my insurance company knew that I was really serious about switching plans. In the end, I did not buy an insurance through Hartgrove Insurance because I was able to modify my existing plan. Unfortunately, Hartgrove doesn't sell the plan that I currently have. However, if I am ever in need of new insurance in the future, I will definitely reach out to Hartgrove Insurance.
