Marshal Alan F. Zaniewski has been process serving for many years. Bottom line, he gets the job done.

It is such a neat building with plenty of historic artifacts inside. All the employees were super friendly. People do actually work inside of this building, so it was busy with a bunch of workers trying to make it from one point of the building to the other. Learned a little bit of CT history. We were able to tour the room where the decision was made to make Marijuana legal in CT. About 4 stories tall. We also were able to walk underground over to the legislative building as well! Such neat history is located here also. A lot of comemerative veterans are seen all throughout the walls also which lets you pay many respects throughout your visit. It was such a great last day tour, and I'm glad we visited.

Outside, you'll see a towering golden dome that rises over Hartford quite impressively. There's also a relief arrayed around the edges of the building that illustrates scenes from the history of this State. Inside, there are a couple of interesting things, i.e., sculptures, battle flags, etc., but it'll take you under a half an hour to see all of it once you enter. All things considered, this place is worth a visit, if only to get some pictures of that impressive dome :-)

Very impressive architecture and a very interesting Ct Hall of Fame section. Very clean and spacious, perfect for the event.

The…read moreobvious question is to ask, "Do they pass the laws I want them to pass?" with the obvious answer: "Not often enough." But that's not just my personal hubris; it could be said of any legislature anywhere, so back to Connecticut's take on a legislative office building. First of all, it's architecturally distinctive. Within its modern facade is a lovely large interior atrium that seems much larger than it is. A "tunnel" connects the LOB to the Capitol next door, decorated with faces from the state's history. The tunnel is actually a bridge over the highway on ramp between the buildings, which just feels cool. The cafeteria is convenient and decent, and the entire building tended with great attention. Parking is free in a garage behind the LOB: follow the driveway between it and the state armory next door to find its entrance. The staff have only been kind and helpful when I've visited on business. Whatever lawmakers may decide to do or not do, these state employees remain gracious, and I appreciate it.
