These skilled professionals took the time to do detailed prep work and used only high quality paint and materials. It shows in the final result! My room not only looks refreshed, it looks NEW! C&R Pro Painting added crown molding to my bedroom and en-suite bathroom, which elevated the space by providing an elegant, finished look and seamless visual transition between the walls and ceiling. They also swapped out a dated ceiling fan/light fixture for me with a new beautiful modern tiffany one. They even took the time to show me how to add the fan remote control app to my i-Phone. The whole project process was made seamless by Luis, who had a printed estimate ready for me before he left our consultation. Luis provided clear and timely communications throughout the job. Afterwards, he made sure I was completely satisfied with the results. I'm over the moon! I will definitely have them work future projects and have already referred them to a friend. They also patched holes in the wall and cracks between our walls and ceiling molding around the rest of the house. Spencer was very responsive and came out on the same day that we initially called to provide a free estimate, despite it being sundown and we literally had no heat/gas or electricity at the time, so we were going around with flashlights. He provided a timely estimate and his project manager, Lee Ann, called us right after we confirmed the work order to finalize the details. Despite a LOT of unforeseen setbacks with bad old paint and missing paint for the patchwork (lesson learned, never trust paint that is left behind by the previous owner without testing it on the walls!), the Five Star Painting crew still finished within 2 days and did a beautiful job on the fully-painted rooms and an admirable job on the patchwork. Lee Ann was born to be a Project Manager, she is so on top of it and kept us fully updated with status and unexpected findings. We will definitely work with them again when we repaint the rest of the house. As a wonderful bonus gesture, Spencer makes a donation on behalf of the customer, to their favorite charity (ours was St. Jude's).

Two of the hardest things about hiring a contractor are ....1: are they trustworthy? 2: will they…read moreshow up? We found Nesbitt Brothers (Guy Nesbitt is the owner) through a referral through the landlord of the fiancé's company. They use Nesbitt Brothers for all their commercial work. So, when we moved into our new house, the fiance and I weren't happy with the options given to us by the builder. 6 paint colors for an obscene price. We were referred to Guy and couldn't have been happier. Don't let the address fool you...yes, they are right by the PA border, but the crew rents a hotel if they have a job on the NoVa area. Its great because they put in long hours once they start a job since they only have a hotel room waiting for them. None of this showing up at 10 am and leaving at 2 pm...yeah, sound familiar anyone who's hired a contractor?? He does the work himself with his sons. And they HAND ROLL the paint. No cheapo sprayers that leave a thin film of paint. They do it all by hand which gives a thick coat that looks amazing. Now, if you are looking for a dirt cheap painter, Guy isn't your "guy". He does quality work but for a decent price, its not going to be the cheapest price. But it won't be the most expensive either, he is very fair. We've used Nesbitt Bros to paint our new house, paint the fiance's company office, and the bachelor pad condo. The crew is honest, does good work and you NEVER have to worry that they won't show up. You'll get an estimated day he can start work and he'll stick to it. Great crew, and as the fiance says "Guy is the type of guy you can have over for Thanksgiving". They are very honest, and understanding when switching colors mid-job...yep, it happens :) and do really good work!

Hamilton's Unlimited was here before the plumbers and had my house back to normal in less than four…read moredays - including new drywall and paint. On a Sunday evening, a huge clog backed up the drain for both of my 2nd Floor bathrooms and the water ran down into my 1st Floor ceiling. I got the water turned off and called the plumber and Kevin at Hamilton's Unlimited. Since I also have a Powder Room on the 1st Floor, I told them both it can wait until Monday morning. Early the next morning the plumber called to say they were running ahead of schedule and asked if they move me up. Of course, I told them yes. By the time the plumbers got here (early), Hamilton's Unlimited had already removed all of the wet ceiling, disinfected the framing, set up fans and a dehumidifier, and hauled away the debris. As a bonus, having the ceiling open like that helped the plumbers determine where the clog was which saved me even more time and money. That afternoon, after everyone had left, I was sure I'd be dealing with this for a week or more. However, over the next 48-hours, Hamilton's Unlimited kept in contact with me, even stopping by, to ensure that the drying process was progressing to their liking. By Thursday afternoon - less than four days after the leak - they had installed all new drywall, sanded, and fresh paint on the entire ceiling and one wall. Done. Like it never even happened - only quicker and less painless.
