Normally i would eat those around the main station in hamburg. But this time i took the chance to try a spot way out of the Turkish comfort scene. In Osdorf. As i know the turks don't need any MSG to give their food any taste, so i always enjoy an original place like this. And i was absolut delighted. a modern restaurant with very friendly guys. and good food, i had the Grill Platte it would translate to mixed bbq/grill plate. and i had to try the chicken döner and the falafel. Start with the bad one, the falafel wasn't good at all, try and i can tell it wasn't made fresh, i would say it was frozen stuff. The Chicken Döner was just perfect and fresh. And the mixed grill perfect. But it took them a lot of time to prepare the mixed grill. This is - of course different - to the hot spot in the Citycenter. But after all, i was absolut surprised to find this spot with friendly guys and good food that fare away from a Turkish neighbour hood. After the dinner i had a turkish tea, i had to pay for it - in the city this tea is mainly on the house. but thats ok. They earned there four stars!

I don't know how the kebaps are but I got a dish consisting of lamb, a yoghurt sauce and little chunks of bread, topped with a pretty hot chili. Absolutely delicious.
