Scrapped a car worth over $15,000 for under $1,000. Not a fair business. Better to look elsewhere to find a deal.

went to get a part ,and when they told me the price i laughed in there face and explaned to the guy that for ten bucks more that i could buy a brand new one with a guarantee , threw the part down and left . read more

If I could give a zero-star rating, I would. This business is dishonest and operates like a bunch of crooks. I pulled a part that was not working. I asked to exchange it for a new one after testing it, but they refused both the exchange and a refund. This is not how business should be conducted. They stole $43 from me. read more

I just got back from your Hazleton yard ,where I junked my truck and your manager was beyond rude.I don't go to Harry's much so it could not have been something I did in the passed.There was maybe a bag of junk in the front seat of the truck and he made me clean it .I even made a bet with him that he could pick any car in the yard and if it had less junk in it then my truck I would give him 20 dollars.Needless to say he didn't take the bet.I talked to several of my friends and they say he is always on some kind of power trip and is rude to the costumers.You can watch the video because you have enough cameras or you can just let this type of behaver from him continue.Remember it takes years to get a good reputation and only days to lose it. read more

Went online and filled out form to get estimate on vehicle I was going to drive to West Hazleton lot. Within an hour I received a telephone call, answered a few questions about the vehicle and received a quote that was much higher than 4 other junk yards in the Wyoming Valley. Drove the vehicle to Harry's on Thursday and after a quick once over to verify the vehicle was complete as I specified on the phone, they cut a check for the exact amount that I was quoted on the phone. All in all this was a very pleasant experience and I felt I received a more than fair price for the vehicle. It was well worth the drive from the Wyoming Valley to close this deal. read more

Needed an instrument cluster for my daughter's 2004 Audi A4 Cabrio. People were friendly enough. A little weird at the end when you have to pay for your parts, got the sense that they must have people try to steal things often because I felt that like I was about to be searched. Anyway, overall positive experience. Was able to take my son who was 17. Brings me back to the days when I went to junkyards with my dad. I think the prices were fair. Would recommend. read more

Traveled 2 hours to get a rear seat with for a van. Talked to a woman before I entered the yard to verify pricing on the seat. I was told single "captains chair" seats are $30, and the one piece non-electric "bench" seats like I was looking for were $20. I paid for entry, rented a wagon, and went to pull the seat from one of the vans on the lot. After getting to the checkout and going through the whole "no, I'm not stealing anything by stuffing it in the seat" routine I was told the price was $40. I tried to explain and show the gentleman that the seat was indeed a non-motorized one piece seat, but he didn't seem interested and insisted on the price. Needless to say I will not be going back. This is the second time I was told one price, then get charged a much higher price upon going to check out. It is also the last time I'll ever set foot in the place. read more

Harrys does not have lowest prices.. It use to have great prices..Use to be great... Now they charge more for a tire alone, then any used tire shop. They want $33 for a tire, that you must remove from whatever rim its on. So you have to do the labor for the tire, then pay the $33 for the tire, then pay the used tire shop to install it for you.. EZ pull, $30 with the rim... Harrys prices are getting ridiculous, a front windshield, with the rearview miror that cant be removed, $62.. EZ pull, $35 with mirror attached... Harry you are taking the joy of going to the junkyard, to work on your own car and putting used part.. You save basically nothing after you take in consideration your time and labor when you go to HARRYs U PULL..For those who feel you been paying to much especially with those dam core charges, and ect., E-Z Pull has great prices and alot of inventory as well, tires are price as they should, For motors, transmissions, altenators, etc.. Theys want to charge you a core charge, for $10, you pay $20 for the part and $10 for core, its $30. Bring theold, $10 back, how about gas, time for trip, just to get your $10 back.. Harry, thats bull#@$%... We're being robbed for an extra $10.. Who has time to come back an hour, to get 10 bucks... read more

I absolutely do not like their service. I made a call to them after finding the kind of car I need in their yard. While I understand that u pull it means you go and pull it yourself, I didn't want to drive 2 hours down only to find that the car was wrecked in the front and useless for me to pull body parts from. I asked nicely if someone could possibly take a look and see if the body was intact then I make sure it was worth the trip. The man on the phone gave me an awful attitude. He wouldn't even do that even after I explained to him that I lived 2 hours away. It was not like I was asking him to do the work...I was simply asking if the body was intact and I'll PULL the parts myself. I hung up feeling like I wasn't treated well. read more
