I meant to review this place back in July when my family and I visited for our annual Flores family reunion!!!! This store has everything you will want or need that is cowboy/cowgirl related!!! We bought my daughter some boots, and she loves loves loves them!!!! My great niece also got the cutest outfit and boots!!! So many cute trinkets here, along with gorgeous luggage bags to Christmas ornaments, which we bought all of. The staff was so sweet and helpful to all of us on trying on boots, clothes, etc. Prices are incredibly reasonable as well!!! Thank you for treating us like family! Harry's has been in downtown San Saba, TX since 1939. They have all you'll need for your western wear needs. I love going to Harry's Boots. First of all, I love the way it smells when you walk in the door. The strong smell of leather cascades over you. I never grow tired of that smell. Harry's has a wide range of brands and styles for both women and men. The store is divided into individual rooms. One room on the far end is filled with women's boots. A room on the opposite end is dedicated to men's boots. The rooms in between are filled with jeans, shirts, blouses, belts, buckles, leather goods, and a wide range of other things. They have all of the typical brands of western wear that you would expect in a store. One of my favorite areas is the hat room. Located upstairs, Harry's has a huge selection on hats. Traditional brands line Stetson and Resistol are heavily represented. They also have other brands of hats. They have a huge selection of styles and colors to choose from. They also have a wide range of price and quality. They have some wool hats (less expensive; lower quality) to higher end beaver fur hats ranging from 5x to 20x (the more x's, the higher quality). Bottom line - You owe it to yourself to stop in at Harry's. A great western wear store with small town roots. They literally have have you covered from head to toe. read more

Awesome store, and perhaps one of the best business histories in Texas. Taking the original owner's vision and expanding it into one of the best western clothing stores I've visited. Forget Shepler's, Boot Barn, and Cavender's...you ain't a real Texan until you've bought clothing from Harry's in San Saba. The interior is well thought out and spacious. For the men, an entire room of boots. Imagine said space could have been a 40's or 50's complete hardware store back in the day. I think I remember 5 old businesses side by side turned onto one for the present day store. You'll find staples like Wrangler and more trendy cowboy garb like Rock and Roll Denim, Cinch, and even some Lucky Brand for the young at heart. Boot wise, lot's of classic names like Lucchese, Anderson Bean, and Tony Lama. Gal's side of the store is just as comprehensive as the mens. Brighton jewelry, Cruel Denim, etc. Boot selection was a little smaller than the mens. Rest of that area has the kiddos section. Upstairs, you'll find the hats. LOTS of hats! It's aleady 100 degrees outside and the last thing in the world I want to wear just jeans and boots. Guess I'm a fall/winter cowboy. Shorts and flip flops unless I gotta crawl thru the cedars for fence repair. See yall in the fall when I'm ready to pick up some new jeans. read more

Terrible service. We have shopped here many times. Made a special trip to look at boots. Spent over $1000 and no one ever ask " can I help you?" " finding everything?" Acted as if we were an inconvenience. We will definitely not be back there are other places to shop. read more

huge selection for small town san saba! shoot, huge selection even if it were located in a big city! and the prices are the same as anywhere else! not marked up like most small town stores try to do. they have one of the best and largest boot selections i've seen for men women and children! if you're going through town i would definitely find time to make a stop by harry's! read more

We visit San Saba from Austin to get pecans and saw this place and decided to go in. We ended up buying a hat. To make a long story short they took the hat from us to take to the counter so we wouldn't have to carry it around and could continue to shop. What a mistake that was they ended up selling us the wrong hat. I called them when we got home and realized that we had the wrong one and the sales lady knew exactly who I was and continually apologized for making a mistake. We drove all the way back which is 77 miles in a hurry as they were closing thinking they would make it right and give us a discount, but when we got back there they wanted to blame it on us. The manager claims they looked at the security cameras and that we pointed at the wrong hat which is a total lie. I refuse to buy from a dishonest business and would encourage others to do the same. read more

I'm really impressed with Harry's. Mrs. B and I try to get all our boots here, because I really like their selection. I got a pair of Ariats at Harry's a couple years ago that I am very happy with, and Mrs. B just picked up a new pair of boots that she is just crazy about. My father really likes their selection of hats, and on select Saturdays they have a hat-shaper upstairs that will make your Stetson look great. I recommend checking out all of San Saba's downtown/courthouse area in the fall, as there are a number of festivals and other events that make the town definitely worth touring. read more

so.... I was in the area for a few days and planning to leave Saturday night and head back to Canada via Dallas. That evening I see this fabulous sale on Harry's website so i grab a room at the dingy Hill Country Inn and can't wait for Monday at 9 am as Harry's is closed Sunday. All day Sunday on the website is the amazing sale. The sun rises Monday and at 9:02 as they unlock the door in sleepy San Saba and I am in the door pumped. "Sorry sir, the sale ended Saturday" two clerks told me. "...and yes, those boots you like were on sale Saturday I don't wanna lie". My heart sank. I got back in my rental and drove three hours to Dallas (where I should of and could of been Satuday night) lol!! I ended up at Cavender's Boots and got a sweet deal despite using a cab. Having said all that, Harry's did look nice but I could not buy there on principal eh. I was so excited for Monday morning to arrive. I felt like a kid waiting for Christmas only to get the gift of coal. Websites are important marketing devices - the webiste should have been adjusted Saturday night. I spent 100 bucks and a wasted day waiting for a Santa that would never arrive LOL!!!!! First time in Texas and the people were amazing! read more

Harry's is one of the reasons I visit San Saba, along with one hundred other reasons which are all relatives. The actual building dates back to the early 1900's, and has been a clothing go-to locale for multiple decades. I have visited this store since the early 90's and they always carry quality inventory. More recently, the store has been revamped, enlarged and has a fantabulous assortment of western attire, general cowboy needs and home accents. A HUGE selection of boots, for men and women, including Ariats, Corral, Dan Post, Justin, Lucchese, Old Gringo and Tony Lama, and specialty Game Day boots for collegiate fans-- I'm certain there are other brands. My son and husband have purchased several hats from Harry's, must visit their upstairs 'hat room'. Don't be surprised when all you think of is breathing in the leather oxygen that surrounds you. Harry's makes your Texan Smile turn up, say Howdy with more of a twang and hope your dancin' partner is ready to two step. read more
