Dr. Albert is a genuine dentist (and person) who takes his time talking through whatever dental work he is performing. He puts your mind at ease and next thing you know, you're done. I've had the worst teeth my entire life. Dr. Albert took the time to examine my teeth and put together a plan for me over the next two years. I have been a dental chicken for a number of years; there I've said it. However, over the centuries I've gritted my remaining teeth and put up with most dentists. This dental office was different; I walked in the door and was greeted with multiple, genuine smiles. I thought, "Where was I-some alternative dental universe?" But nope, everyone was from this dimension. Where they went when the office closed, I don't know-but they appeared human. The energy was positive, the doctor, dental techs and the receptionist were beyond competent. The receptionist, technician and the dentist answered questions, were knowledgeable and pleasant. I scheduled to have a deep cleaning and there were no surprises or excruciating pain during the process. They accepted my insurance and paid what I expected to pay. I left with a slightly numb face, but I got more than I thought I would; a peaceful, kind dental experience. I think the oxygen in the office even smelled fresher... You should come here. read more

Dr. Albert always takes the time to explain all necessary procedures and the possible risks associated with not attending to recommended treatments in a timely manner. Dr. Albert and his entire staff are amazing! He has got to be the most gentle dentist I have ever known when giving numbing serum. He constantly checks to make sure you're ok while he's performing a procedure, and he makes sure you understand everything he is doing. He shows you pictures of the work he is doing and constantly tries to put a person at ease. If he can't do a procedure, he has many experts that he will gladly refer you to and I appreciate it when he admits that something is out of his area of practice. Horrible experience. I had two filings by dentist, Harry Albert, and he cemented two of my teeth together, then denied he did it. I couldn't floss my teeth and had to take time off work the next day so they could chisel the filing material from in between and around the two filings. I recall the dentist being in a hurry to go to lunch on the day he did the sloppy job on my fillings. Then, to add insult to injury, they sent me a balance owing for services. The dentist is arrogant, and his assistants and receptionist are not genuinely friendly or professional, and they and the dentist rudely carried on a personal conversation as they hovered over my face doing dental work. Also, the dental chairs and equipment are so old and falling apart. read more

To be completely honest I have a serious fear of the dentist. I guess I just get really bad anxiety. With that said I am so glad I found Dr. Albert. The staff in his office is so professional and friendly. They're so thorough and understanding, I know I've received the best care. They've never attempted to upsell on procedures or products I didn't need and I appreciate that tremendously. I've been to many dentists before who do that. I've already told my friends and family about this office. Dr. Albert his extended his great service to them as well. They too, can't say enough good things. The office is religiously clean. I've never seen an office take such pride in the cleanliness of their rooms. The front is very relaxing and really helps with my nerves. Nothing gives you peace of mind knowing this. Dr. Albert and his staff are great! I have been a patient for over 13 years now and Dr. Albert has fixed everything about my teeth from whitening, to chips to straightening them out. I have never had a bad experience or problematic issue. Every 6 months, the awesome hygienist, Cindy, cleans my teeth to perfection. The only reason why I didn't put 5 stars is beacuse I don't go to the dentist as often as I know I should. I've been coming here for 2-3 years. It's right down the street from work...literally walking distance. Great service and all my questions are answered. Always in and out to get a cleaning..so I usually try to schedule appointments during my lunch break. Dr. Albert also recommended me to an oral surgeon close by to remove my 5 wisdom teeth for a low cost (I like to call my 5th wisdom tooth "Aztec tooth"..long story). Thank you Dr Albert. I rarely give good ratings for any dentist or doctor because of horrible past experiences. In this instance I had a sharp jabbing nerve pain upon eating. The tooth looked great. The two nerve tests from the Endodonic specialist came back normal. All other dentists(3 others) wanted to tear up the good tooth and crown it saying that it was cracked!. Dr Albert was reluctant to follow their same path as he could see the tooth looked great. It turns out my bite was a tad off causing major compression on that tooth once food got in. He took literally 30 seconds or less to burr the tooth a shade down. And Blam! no more major torque and no more tooth pain. Thank you Dr Albert for saving my tooth! Excellent experience! In short, I came to this office for the first time to get a second opinion. Dr. Albert did a great job clearly explaining his findings, worked with a light hand, and best of all... didn't try to rip me off (I'll explain later so those that don't want to read the boring details won't have to). I appreciated the professional service received from the Dentist and his staff. I definitely will return to this office. For the long story... Started the visit with a full set of x-rays, which was quick and painless. Jonie, did a great job positioning the x-ray sensor so my gums weren't hurting after she finished. After a few minutes, Dr. Albert came in, evaluated my gums, then provided a clear and detailed explanation of what he found. Here goes, let's see how it matches up: Gums, not so good, I needed some deep cleaning (match). Angle of one of my wisdom teeth (yup, got them all still) causes it to push up against another tooth making it difficult to clean, need to start flossing or it will become an issue (not a match). One tooth had a cavity which needed to be addressed, and one tooth could become a problem if I don't start flossing or floss more often (slight match). A copy of the other x-rays were sent prior to my appointment so we could compare. Some teeth which the other office identified to have cavities, were not identified as having cavities at this office. I was also reminded of the importance of flossing (match), which probably happens at all offices when you answer "uhh, not really" after being asked "How OFTEN do you floss?". Overall, better results than the other office. Got the cavity and deep cleaning (one side) taken care on the same day, and then scheduled another deep cleaning appointment for the other side. Griselda did a great job with the deep cleaning, so I wasn't worried when I returned. BACKGROUND: I used to drive down to an office near Hollywood for routine check-ups and cleanings. Great place, great price (cash patient), no issues, but started having less and less time to continue driving through LA traffic for dental work (1.5 hrs, ONE way -- should only take 40 min); office is no longer there. I also started a family, which pushed "me" lower in priority so I can take care of others, and I ended up skipping dental cleanings. After about 4 years I see a flyer in the mail for a local dental office, "get a free Sonicare electric toothbrush with any service." Perfect, my Sonicare toothbrush just died, why not get a new one for free AND get a cleaning (poor reasoning). Day of my appointment, I walked into a nice modern looking office; opened with a year or so. I got full x-rays done which was OK; can't say it was painless, assistant had some issues getting the sensor positioned in a way that wouldn't stab my gums or make me want to gag. Dentist checked in to let me know she had my x-rays and would be right back... which was nice of her. When the Dentist returned, she evaluated my gums and then told me a few issues were found: saw six cavities on the x-rays, should try to take care of that now; gums look bad, should schedule some deep cleanings; you have all your wisdom teeth, should just remove those now because it's easy to get cavities there, so might as well take care of it now. FYI, I didn't have dental insurance at the time, so getting smacked with a $3K estimate for future work was a big surprise. Only had the cleaning done. Got my free toothbrush. Left the office. Didn't return. BTW, the free electric toothbrush was a lower model than the one that broke; replacement heads I had were not compatible. read more

I was long over due for a dentist visit, and decided to switch over to this office. And I do not regret my choice at all! It's a small dental office, so when I got there I was seen immediately. My first visit was for x Rays and exams. The assistant, Joanie I believe is her name, took my x Rays. She was very kind and gentle! Some of them can be extremely uncomfortable but she made sure I wasn't sitting around waiting too long. After that, Dr. Albert came in and did the exams. He showed me my x Rays and told me what was going on. He told me I had to get my wisdom teeth removed, and he could do them or he could send me somewhere else. But once he saw they were too close to my nerve trunk, he sent me to the surgeon. Which I really appreciate because I rather have him send me somewhere where they specialize in wisdom teeth, than have a huge mistake happen in my mouth! But overall, Dr. Albert is very kind and I love how he explains everything to you. I went back for my cleaning, and the hygienist named Cindy took care of me. Very sweet woman! She made sure I wasn't uncomfortable and she took her time. She explained to me the correct way to floss, and even gave me Advil for my sore gums. I loved my cleaning experience, as weird as that sounds. Great office! Everyone here is extremely nice. Gloria at the front desk is also helpful. She explains everything regarding insurance issues very well. If you are in search of a new dental office, I highly recommend this place. read more

Let's face it, nobody LIKES going to the dentist. Dr. Albert and his team make is as pleasant an experience as possible though. Everyone is extremely kind, patient and gentle. I had to get several filings done and Dr. Albert has a great "bedside" manner; telling you as he goes what he's doing and what he's about to do, and thank goodness, he doesn't skimp on numbing you! There's nothing worse than dentists who are stingy with their numbing! The whole staff does its best to maintain a calm, peaceful atmosphere and relieve any anxiety you may be feeling about your visit. I would highly recommend them! read more

I never had planned on writing a review for anyone or anything. This office is worth the effort. I have been twice now and each time I leave feeling very happy from my pleasant experience. It's the dentist office! I have never left the dentist office in my life feeling happy. Apparently it's possible to get a filling and not be extremely uncomfortable during and after. I found Dr. Albert and his staff to be extremely genuine. I am so happy I just walked into this office on my own and decided to give it a try.
