Let me assure you that I came here and I absolutely loved this place. Very friendly bar in the area. Most of the bar has dollar bills that are personalized and scattered throughout the walls and ceiling. The bartender was really sweet, people here are friendly and social. It's a small bar but they have 2 pool tables, darts, a jukebox, some other games too. There's an outdoor smoking area too. Restrooms are a hit or miss because it is a really small single stall room. There's no food but there are snacks here. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Beer is cheap!

Ordered food ahead of time for pickup, and upon arrival they could tell I was picking up because I was the only non-local there and also the only one wearing a mask. They didn't take my wife's name over the phone, but it was the only takeout order they had waiting so it doesn't seem like people call orders in at this place very often. On the plus side, our food was ready in less than 15 mins. As far as the food goes, the burgers were quite delicious and came with chips which were unadvertised as part of the price. The chicken strips & fries basket was a child sized portion, which was fine cause we ordered it for a child, but an adult may be let down by how much was in the container. The jalapeño cheese poppers were so so, but the deep fried mushrooms were very tasty.

Nicolas David from the Voice has played here numerous times...and this tavern consistently draws acts from the Twin Cities. The best part of the whole deal is that I have never been charged a cover to get in and see good music. Sometimes, during shows, they serve free beer in the back from a keg...most likely PBR. Free music, and free beer? Is this heaven? Looking around the bar, enjoy the years and years of graffiti on the walls in the back of the bar. There are some really great artists in this town...and some fancy poets. The bathrooms are so full of markered writing, you could stand in there for a number of minutes just to take it in. I was impressed with the selection of crappy and not-so-crappy beer, and the service was great. The sound from the stage was great, and there was a little area where people would dance.
