Did not give me the correct/updated address for his office and is currently working out of a back room of a chiropractor's office. The warning signs were there and I should have trusted my gut but I was desperate at the time. Horrific experience. Save your time and money and steer clear. He charged far too much for an initial consultation, however, I thought, 'okay, at least he'll have potential diagnosis(es) or a solid plan forward'. Nope. He failed to provide any specific plan for me, simply scribbling on a white board about how my adrenals were likely fatigued. Zero insight into a tailored plan for my specific needs; no real plan forward at all. He simply wanted me to agree to one of a few generic treatment options that ranged up into the tens of thousands of dollars. He only reinforced my skepticism of this 'science'. He was nice enough, though I suppose it's easy for one to be nice when trying to get a lot of money out of you, again with zero specifics or any real plan in place. He could be a fine chiropractor but when it comes to actual medicine, it seems as though he is purely a salesman of supplements, expensive lab tests, and lifestyle recommendations. Oh, and then the only follow-up I received from him or his team was constant spam from a mailing list they placed me on without my knowledge/consent. I believe Dr. Waldstein saved my life. I contracted Lyme disease back in 2012 and was very sick…read more I couldn't get a conventional doctor to even see me. I got sick around the end of May and continued to get worse through December. I was sensitive to light and sound, my sense of balance was bad, I had brain fog, a horrific sinus infection, conjunctivitis, dizziness & vertigo, coordination and cognitive issues. At one point I couldn't even recognize my own daughter. Since I hadn't been able to get a conventional doctor to see me, I started looking for alternative doctors. Around the end of December, I came across Dr. Waldstein online and scheduled an appointment. In the meantime I read all the information he had on his website and also did some additional reading on classical homeopathy. Dr. Waldstein was very tentative, compassionate and thorough with the questions he asked during our initial appointment. About a week later, he had me come in for the remedy. About 20 minutes after I left his office, I felt a strange tingling sensation like energy or electricity all over. I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment today. Their policy is that if you are more than 5 minutes late, you must reschedule. I arrived at 9:06 -- as I stepped in the door, the clock literally turned to 9:07. I had even called from my car to let them know I was almost there, but they put me on hold for eight minutes. By the time I walked in, I was still on hold with their office. I wasn't there for a full exam, just to review simple lab results, which takes only a few minutes. The waiting room was completely empty. No backlog, no patients waiting, nothing. I asked if the doctor could still see me, given that I was two minutes past their "cut-off" and had just driven 50 minutes each way (on top of taking time off work). The front desk staff refused. They repeated "policy" like robots, without any consideration for common sense or patient care. This rigid, unyielding approach is the opposite of what healthcare should be. Policies exist for a reason, but when they're applied with zero flexibility -- even when the patient calls ahead, even when the waiting room is empty, even when it's only two minutes -- that's not professionalism, that's arrogance.
