I heard about one of their baked goods called the Dream Ring so I knew that I must try this while we were in Inverness. This particular bakery location was very clean, and the staff was polite. They were patient with us as we decided what we wanted to purchase. Everything looked amazing! They don't carry just sweet treats. They also make a multitude of savory items as well. We ended up buying (4) sweets to try later. They packaged it up nicely in a cool looking box. All four treats were yummy. My wife's favorite was the Strawberry Tart which looked good, but tasted even better than its looks. How about their Dream Ring? Did I like it? Oh Yeah!! You bet I liked it!! That Dream Ring doughnut of theirs looks simple, and it tastes dreamy!! I don't know what it is about it that makes it taste so good. Maybe it's the dough or maybe it's the icing or maybe it's the delicious bakers cream inside the Dream Ring. Whatever the reason....the whole thing just works so well and tastes wonderful! If I had known that I would like it so much, then I would have bought their Giant Dream Ring!! Yup, they got a Giant one too!! Harry Gow Bakery is a fabulous bakery. I can see why they've won Scottish Baker of the year multiple times. They bake everything from scratch. No pre-mix ingredients in their products.
