We were thankful to have OFD recommended to us after our first shoddy dentist went out of business (malpractices and lawsuits I'm assuming). The dentist office is easy to find via GPS, and has plenty of parking. The office is clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. Barb is my regular hygienist and she is gentle and professional. I've had to have one cavity filled here, and Dr. Castaño is the most gentle dentist I've ever had ! You can't even feel the numbing shots and getting a cavity filled was virtually a pain free experience and as pleasant as getting a cavity filled could be. I had a lot of anxiety leading up to the filling, but afterwards, it wasn't a big deal at all. I've had concerns about my TMJ problem, and Dr. Castaño had me fitted for a night guard, which has significantly reduced my jaw pain. However, after waiting almost 1/2 hour, she told me the doctor would need to consult with me, plus I'd have to get x-rays. That's not what I understood from my phone appointment. To her credit they offered me the extra work at no charge, but no dentist should require a full set of x-rays (think lots of radiation) just to do a quickie in-office whitening procedure.
