They added decking, an eight ft fence, a swing gate, a firepit and an arbor. Each one is my favorite. Through out the whole process Mark was professional, even when I changed my mind several times and he had to redraw the plans. Their materials and workmanship were top of the line. He went above and beyond any of my exceptions. I can't say enough nice things about his work and his crews. Thank you Extreme Woodcare.

Mark was very responsive and gave me plenty of heads up on when everything was going to happen. I do wish I had gotten to see some more of the design upfront it would have made me feel more comfortable with the cost (very reasonable after seeing the work that was done). My only knock is the contractor for the gutters doubled the cost that Mark originally quoted to me, however this could have been because I waited to see what the cover would look like.

To be honest, the instructions that came with the kit were confusing for people (me) who don't do jobs like this regularly. Nick was extremely affordable for the quality of work done. He was extremely punctual, arriving at 9am on the dot, and was respectful of our home. They butchered the job and foolishly made the door swing open into the alley, even though none of the other neighbors had anything similar. Richardson Code Compliance quickly shut them down and it was like pulling teeth to get them to come fix the ridiculous mistake they made of getting the door to swing open the correct way, into the yard... they then tried to charge me extra to fix this mistake! I was unfortunately referred to Double J Contractors by a friend in McKinney who assumed they did…read morequality work. They were one of the companies to jump on the hail storm bandwagon with the storm that came through this last April. This was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. Every single step of the way I had to call and call, and endlessly hound them to complete the work on my home. They of course made taking my insurance payment priority and then vanished. When they did manage to show up, they damaged my property during each one of their visits and completed extremely poor quality projects, regardless of what was asked of them. They couldn't even stain a fence correctly with large gaps completely missed. They cracked my windows, left massive gaps, holes, and cracks on all installs. Rude and entitled during each conversation. They are a totally unprofessional and dangerous to use company. The owner, Kevin Johnson, screams obscenities and threats towards his customers when asking him to follow through with what was promised, while his partner Billy Helmke will say anything to you in order to get you to sign their "contract". Afterwards they will take the money, complete only the bare minimum over many, many months and leave you high and dry. One of the worst contractors I have ever seen in my entire life. This is the type of company that gives all contractors a bad name and has ruined that industry. You've been warned, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
