I take her home, go to work come back and shes got hives all over and itchy from the vaxxs already paid over $600 for. called them up they said to bring her back in, they examine her in another room, give her two more shots a steroid and Benadryl to counteract the reaction without asking me. say she's fine and tell me there's some Benadryl pills I can get as well. I figured it's a bad reaction to the shots I already paid for I shouldnt be charged extra for this...sure enough lady comes in with another bill for $65 for the two shots they didn't ask me to inject. in no world should someone have to pay for meds to fix a reaction to vax I already paid for! ridiculous. the doctor and aids were very nice and everything but I won't be back because they charged me for a fix to their messup.

I have been with the Vet Clinic since 1982 when I moved back from Missouri. They were located up…read morethe hill on High St. next to the funeral home, but the office then was still compact and comfy. They have cared for 5 of my kitties and 9 doggies, plus several of my daughter's and mother's animals over the years. They have truly been family. I recently moved to Delaware OH and thought I had a good match for my Pomeranian, Harry, only to find the doctor there only had what he wanted to do in mind, and refused to be on a team, refusing care, with Harry's cardiologist every time Harry needed a medication or blood test. I reached back out to the team at the Vet Clinic several times and they have been stellar at stepping up for Harry, prescribing what the Cardiologist requested at the Compounding Pharmacy next door (Harry will not take a pill so liquid it is on all 4 medications!). Since we are still in the year time frame and Harry was actually in the office for a shot one day, he is still considered a patient and, with the problems I am encountering in Delaware with vets, I will be driving back to Worthington in days/months to come for Harry's needs, where he will be back with the family that cares about him. This practice, with Dr. Kellogg who retired, Paula Moeller and now Missy Shardy and Kim will always be family and are highly recommended.

SO - with COVID, the "parents" are not allowed inside with their pet. You call the office once you arrive, a staff member comes out to retrieve your pet, the vet calls you once they have visited with your pet, a staff member calls shortly after for payment of services, and then a staff member brings your pet out afterwards. It's as simple as that. I called Compassionate Care after being referred to them by a friend. My family and I added a Shih-Poo puppy (Molly) to our family a few weeks ago so I wanted to do a wellness visit and make sure that she was up-to-date with her vaccinations. The staff members and vet techs were super friendly (over the phone and when getting Molly and dropping her back off). The vet was even more friendly and super informative. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name - but it was not Dr. Miles. I do not see anyone listed on their webpage except for Dr. Miles. The vet went over EVERYTHING with me that had to do with taking care of and training a puppy. He spent about thirty minutes on the phone with me and I absorbed everything that he had to share. I really enjoyed my time with him. It showed me that he was both compassionate and caring! I also really like the app that Compassionate Care uses to keep you up to date with your appointments. With having a puppy, I think that this is super handy. We have another appointment in two weeks for boosters and I am looking forward to speaking with the staff and vet again. If you have a pet, I would highly recommend Compassionate Care!

My dog used to go somewhere else), and everyone was very welcoming. When you get there, you park and tell them what parking spot you're in, and then they come and bring you and your pet in. My call was answered right away, and they came out to greet us within a few minutes. I really appreciated this as my dog sometimes gets overwhelmed around a lot of other dogs. With this set-up, my dog was able to stay very calm. When I got inside, it was instantly clear how much both the vet and the assistant cared about my dog. They prioritized her comfort and were very kind throughout. My dog's fourteen and losing her sight, so she can get scared easily by people touching her, but they were so gentle; she had zero problems! At one point, they had to take her for some testing which involved washing her face, so she got a little cold, and they wrapped her up in a warm towel straight from the dryer. It was so heartwarming to see how well she was being treated. In addition, I had a lot of questions about costs, and they took the time to explain everything to me. I would highly recommend this place.

The woman who answered was not all interested in a new client. She rushed me through answers, cut off questions, and seemed utterly surprised that I would want to actually meet the doctor I'd be turning my pets over to for care. I get that they're busy but I'd waited on hold to talk to her, if she had such little time (less than 3 minutes) to answer questions maybe she should have left me on hold? I understand that this is during a pandemic so many places are doing curbside, but to not offer a virtual visit? No curbside visit? Sorry but unless it's an emergency like MedVet, I'm not handing my pets over to strangers without talking to them first.
