They have several vets and some treatments can be done by a vetinary nurse. You can pick up all your flea/worming treatment here and they keep a good record of everything you buy so you can work out whether you have kept up to date with things. The vets I have seen have always been kind natured and friendly with appropriate empathy when needed - always helpful and will advice you on all aspects - be prepared for a reasonably long wait if choosing the walk in option.

Brook House Veterinary Hospital have been my vets of choice for my cat since I got him almost 2…read moreyears ago. They have always been extremely helpful, caring and accommodating. More recently my cat had a run in with a car and they were superb in his treatment and care of him, I can't thank them enough for everything they have done for him and the follow up has also been very thorough. Yes it is expensive but as far as I am aware it is the same at any vets and that is why you pay for insurance!

Impossible to give a good review to a vet practise that refuses to see a dog in an emergency!…read more I phoned recently asking to register my 3 dogs and was told, (no other choice) to register them online as they were currently taking registrations. I did just that. Less than 3 weeks later I called asking for an appointment for my elderly / ailing dog. She was passing blood. I was told - "You're not registered" So I explained (the above). After being told, numerous times "You're not registered" and "We are not taking any more registrations", I was left with a dog in a very bad situation. This is from their website ....... ....... "we pride ourselves on caring for your pets as if they are our own" - - REALLY? Thanks a lot, to a really 'caring' vet.

I dropped him off at 9 am, at 11.30 am I got a call to say he had died. You can imagine my shock and horror at the news, which I am still trying to understand. I went to collect him from the vets and was told that he must have had an underlying heart problem bearing in mind that he had been to the vets before and always had been proclaimed healthy, also his heart was checked before the operation. Apparently, 3 vets tried to save him but to no avail. I spoke to the vet that carried out the operation and she was visibly upset. However, I have to query why a very fit, healthy and totally gorgeous 6 month old kitten died for unexplained reasons. I wish I hadn't taken him.

They are reasonably priced and offer 5%discount if you pay straightaway otherwise you get 14days to pay, this can be so helpful if you have had to visit for an emergency appointment. The team of vets work closely together and also will help you if you need to either rehome an animal or adopt an animal. They sell a variety of dog/cat foods and toys and they are priced at less than most pet shops.

Retains something of the traditional veterinary practice as opposed to the current trend towards 'corporate' vet groupings with fees to match!!!
