Great service and response! They came in to install a new unit for the upstairs. Not only were…read morethese guys professional, they were respectful and gave helpful tips on best practice maintenance! I was impressed with their lead guy Larry and the way he ran his small crew. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure we knew what to expect every step of the way. Just yesterday, their work was final inspected and passed with no issues. I'd recommend Mainstream to anyone who needs HVAC work done!! And ask for Larry! He is the bomb!

Their employees lack the training, skills, and company support to do their jobs. My system was recently completed and this morning it failed. The reason is it failed was it was not installed correctly. The owner will come on here and try and blame me for all the issues and you're free to figure out who's lying and who's telling the truth? And if you want to talk to me or see the horrific job they did please feel free to contact me. This company did a horrible job and has no clue what customer service means or customer satisfaction. Looks very much like they're going out of business so please do your diligence before signing a contract with Mainstream. Darryl Pater (owner of Mainstream) will respond to this and tell you this was all my fault. Believe who you will but his word is worthless and his moral compass seems broken. Frank Stewart is the only employee he has that is a man of his word and actually cares about the customer. I support small businesses wholeheartedly but this guy doesn't deserve to be in business any longer

Smith Heating & Cooling - Old pipe that he put in that was paid for as "new pipe from Home Depot", not a hint of glue for which I was charged

Cut pipe from bathtub and did not connect to anything, water ran all under house. Used old pipe with no glue, shoved small pipes into larger ones and covered with thin dirt cover. Left some old pipes wrapped with silver tape in yard, I guess this was the ones he brought and didn't use and left two piles of dirt after barely covering the old pipe he used. the pipe under the house left hanging had a towel around it, I guess that was his "pipe hanger". He never arrived during the day but always had an excuse for either no show or arriving at 4:30-5:00 p.m. saying his truck broke down or he had no babysitter. After arriving late, one day he left around 7 p.m and the next night he left around 2:00 a.m. But he went missing for several hours and left without saying he was leaving or would be returning. The next day he said he was sorry he had a "breakdown". He showed up that Friday afternoon to "complete" the job. He stayed in the yard a little over an hour or so, collected his money and left. The next day there was problems with a feeling of dampness in the house, a man came to inspect and found water all under the house from the bathtub that was not connected to anything. Further inspection found the "field line" to be old pvc of varying sizes, smsll pipes shoved into bigger pipes and not an ounce of glue. I have pictures of the mess that had to be completely redone. My husband is a 76 year old stroke victim and I have a musculoskeletal disease, he counted on us being unable to check his work. If he ripped us off, he will rip off anyone. He is a big talker and brags about his "work ethic" and how he is not trying to get rich off anybody and all the while he is ripping off! He shouldn't be allowed to touch any one's plumbing! His guarantee, like his estimate for "new pipe from Home Depot", is as useless as his work and word. Use this man at your own risk!!!
