He had it towed to Rice Motor Co in Carmi. He spoke with Jeremy Snow, the service & Parts Mgr, who got it in right away. They found the problem, and fixed it right away at at fair & reasonable price. He gave my husband his card and told him any time he's in the area, and has truck problems, to call him & hell take good care of him. This isn't the first time they have saved our trip! We were there this past summer, and the fuel pump went out. They repaired that as well, in the same timely fashion and at a fair price. We highly recommend Rice Motor Co in Carmi, IL for any service, parts or repairs you may need! Thanks again to Jeremy and his amazing service technicians!

I told them "go ahead and quote me, I'm in no hurry"... then the jerk just said "nah, I think we will pass" and hung up.... Seriously?? One would think that this should be a pretty basic simple thing that any auto repair shop could handle... maybe they just are not that skilled? Also a few months ago I brought my van here and they told me my transmission was going out and needed replaced... but then told me they wouldn't be able to get a replacement for 3-4 months(I'm now thinking maybe this 3-4 month wait was a lie too.) Because I brought my van to another shop and the other shop replaced my transmission in under a week! Needless to say I will never attempt to return to this place and have already been telling everyone I have ran into about how horrible this place is....

The gentleman told me it would take 2 weeks before they could begin work. I didn't receive my vehicle back for almost 7 weeks. The panels on the front of my truck don't line up, which is relatively apparent. My driver's side window has deep scratches from the accident that were not addressed. When it was time to pick up the vehicle, I was informed that the windshield had not been installed. This took another two days. I have to be perfectly honest: I don't care how they put the parts back on.....the truck is not the same. I am going to take it to another shop for an evaluation of the work performed.
