He quoted the cost and that was the charge. He came the next day, was through and explained as he went what each step was. He gave me some friendly advice anytime I am asking someone in my home, read the reviews. That in itself warrants 5 stars. It is difficult finding trustworthy people these days but I told Walt to let himself out. I trust this company and cannot say that about many and I will refer anyone to Chatham Appliance Repair.

I was referred to this service site by Frigeadair Warrenty as my new dryer was not working…read moreproperly. David Farrow stated that he would come out to my house between 1pm and 4pm. He rudely stated that he'd call when on his way and I better answer or he'd cancel the appt. I called his office at 4:30pm and left a message asking wherre he was. At 6:45pm he finally calls stating that he was tied up doing other things as he volunteers at a local misson but he'd get to me around 9:00pm or so. Totally unsatisfactory I said come tomorrow morning. He said he'd be there between 0900 and noon. I told him I'f already been waiting since 1pm. His attitude was too bad..I was busy. He finally showed up the following morning. Looked at the dryer, did a test and stated that the problem wasn't with the dryer but in the 240 volt line coming out of the wall..he tested it and there was only 120 volt coming out so he left. I called an electrician( to the tune of $150.00) who tested the circuit, fuse box and load. Nothing was wrong...Seems this repair tech can't tell the difference between a heavy duty 240 volt line and a lamp cord. When I called to complain he hung up on me... DO NOT USE THIS INDIVIDUAL IF YOU HAVE A WARRENTY REPAIR FROM FRIDGEADAIRE or FOR ANY OTHER REASON!!!

This company has been called in to look at my Whirlpool fridge twice thanks to my warranty. First…read moreguy was late basically told me I was full of it, even though my freezer was at 15 degrees not 0 and there were obvious problem with items that were not completely frozen. All he did was check the temp and tell me to clear any dog hair from under the fridge. Second guy came out and actually did some real work. Apparently the back was covered in ice due to a known problem with the Whirlpool evaporator valve. He said he'd order the parts and get back to me the next week. I still haven't heard from him. Lowe's called em to follow up and offered to call the company. I allowed it and was told the parts were on order. Been about 3 or 4 weeks since that guy came out and still nothing. No answer the first time I called. No one called me back after I left a message. As of today, Lowe's is sending out a new company to do the work. Beyond useless, do not use them.

He was able to tell us with lighting speed what was wrong with our Dryer a few weeks ago and it hums like brand new. Then we called this morning with an emergency as our Fridge quit working over night. Justin was able to squeeze us in, managed to get the part needed, and able to install it all within 3 hours. I called these guys to see what the options were as far as replacing or repairing and they wanted $69 to come look at it, and if you did the repair with them, the $69 would be credited toward the repair. I was able to schedule an appointment the next day and for them to look at it. They were on time and at that appointment, they determined it was a faulty part, gave me the exact price to repair and ordered it. A few days later, the part arrived and they called to schedule the repair appointment, which again they had availbility the next day. He came early and called first to make sure that was ok, was at my house for an hour and everything now works!

Bitter & Sweet Experience…read more I called Mr. V's Appliance Repair and was pleasantly surprised that they were able to come out the same day--within about 2-3 hours of my call. That level of responsiveness earned them the first 2 stars. The technician, George, repaired my dryer. I wasn't thrilled about the cost of the repair, but I paid it. As a woman, I hate feeling like I may have been taken advantage of. Before he left, I tested the dryer and it seemed to be working. The following week, I washed clothes again and to my surprise the dryer stopped working after about 10 minutes. I called them back and once again received fast, courteous service. They came out the same day--this time within an hour--and it was George again. I appreciated that the same technician returned and that he repaired the dryer at no additional cost. That earned them 2 more stars. For reference, my dryer is only 3 years old. And now...the last star has officially been earned because I was able to put my clothes in the dryer and it's still running past the 10‑minute mark. Fingers crossed it's completely repaired now. DO NOT RECOMMEND. We called this company for a washing…read moremachine that wasn't working. The tech came out and diagnosed the issue, charged us $300 and made the repair the same day. Ran the machine in test mode and assumed everything was working. We attempted to do laundry that night and the washer did the exact same thing as before they came. We called them out again, and it was about a week later they came back out and said it was another issue, another $400. We said no thank you, and decided to invest in a new machine at that point. I reached out to their office the same day via text message, no response. Reached out over the weekend, they said an office manager would call me Monday morning. Monday came and went, no call. Sent an email asking for follow up on Tuesday, obviously not getting a call back, I emailed my concerns. Paid $300, did not fix the issue. If the tech would have done a thorough diagnosis upfront and found both issues, we would have made an informed decision to invest in a new machine instead.
