This place has some of the tastiest wings in town... hands down!…read more But sadly, the customer service can be the poorest ever... and not from the staff, but from the owner and his son. I learned the hard way after ordering the garlic parmesan wings that you must differentiate between "wet" or "dry." I've lived in the area for less than a year but ordered the same order once a week for about 5 months and they were always in a sauce/"wet" without me knowing to ask for them that way. One day on my lunch break, I ordered them as per usual, but received them plain, no seasoning or garlic sauce, just dry with parmesan sprinkled on them. They have no idea what customer service means. They wanted me to bring the wings back to the restaurant to replace the order. I brought them back twice and both times they attempted to give me the same wings back. TWICE!!! First they gave the same wings back to me...the exact same way, claiming that's how they come. I didn't realize until I got back to the office. I drove back and the lady at the counter agreed that they didn't look like they should. So they sauced the SAME wings, and again, gave them back to me. I noticed this while driving away. I turned around and went back yet again. This time, they took the wings and the owner brought out a fresh order... but he was mad at me! He told me to check the order in front of him and told me not to bring them back again. The. Entire. Nerve. Explain how you can be upset with someone when YOU F*CK UP! When I got there no one was on the phone so it was my turn to order I took my cell phone dialed the business number and put it on speaker and told the cashier that the phone is off the hook and put my speaker food on so she can't deny it, so apparently they tale the phone off the hook to avoid taking to go orders. I called them at least 15 times during the course of my 20 drive to the restaurant. Then I tell them the phone off the hook they just looks at me. They didn't apologize or even come up with some lame ass excuse!!!! Then I noticed they was having issues with the credit card machine ( as usual) so I asked before I ordered. The cook was like "yeah it's tripping right now" I turned around and walk way. Went down the street to Good Times. I received better service, good food at a cheaper price! I supported Kings Diner for a long time, 2 years or more but they've lost my business permanently. The food is good but the service is horrible so that makes it all NOT WORTH IT! Even the cashier at Good Times said verbatim " The service at Kings Diner is horrible". I personally think the owner or management need to fire all those ghetto hood rats and get New help. Horrible services is a business killer. Really my experience they deserve 1 Star the ONLY reason why they have 2 Stars is because the food is good
