I decided to try the hydrafacial and the experience was lovely! Tatiana took caution and extra care while treating my face, as she was aware that I have super sensitive skin and rosacea. Also, they are appointment only are taking good COVID-19 precautions. My temperature was taken upon arrival and was also provided with a hand sanitizer to sanitize my hands. The place was clean and neat. The treatment was a full hour and was truly relaxing and left my face hydrated and glowing. No reactions or much redness, which I am very happy about. I will definitely be coming back to try some other facials here. Thank you, Tatiana!

Nadia is fantastic! Actually, the entire staff is great!…read more I come to Yukie to get my nails done and was offered a gift card to their medispa upstairs the last time I was there for a manicure. I decided to book a consultation since I used to get Botox in my masseter (great treatment for TMJ!). They were able to squeeze me in and on the day of my appointment I filled out some paperwork and was on my way to meet with Nadia. Nadia was honest but not pushy whatsoever. She explained how the whole face works together so by putting Botox in my jaw again it would also affect other parts of my face. Overall, she gave me a facial anatomy lesson in 20 minutes. Since we had time I decided to have her perform my treatment right then and there. She was quick, it wasn't painful at all, and I was in and out in under an hour. The prices are fair and they do not try to push you to do anything you're not comfortable doing. My jaw feels great since my treatment and I have the added perk of no more lines in parts of my face.

I chose the six-package deal for underarms. My esthetician was very thorough throughout the lasering sessions. The interaction with the reception was a little awkward after the first session. I had to pay taxes for the package that I purchased--that wasn't the issue (it was mentioned in the fine print). I gave enough money to cover the taxes and the tip. The receptionist held the money but didn't really say anything like "do you need change?" At one point, I thought she was expecting more money. After that, I noticed the tip envelopes and would use those after each session. No confusion. I did appreciate the fact that they didn't try to sell their own laser packages. They only asked if I had any other areas that I would like lasered and I was given a list of lasering pricing options. I liked the salon; it was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. All in all, I do recommend Face Glow NYC.

I've heard all the hype about the facial type this establishment offers. I was treating myself to this "amazing" facial before my wedding, so my visit there was extra-special. She yelled at me and said she can't take me because her facial takes 60 min. and I'm late. She then continued to be verbally aggressive and commanded me to show up ASAP and not waist her time. I'll never go there again. I will also be sure to let my friends know to cancel their bridal facial appointments.

SB Skin is a truly unique and revolutionary place…read more Look up micro current facials on Google. I started coming here at age 30 when I just felt that my skin looked... tired. I felt that I started showing some lines around my mouth and just looked a little defeated, haha! Many of my friends my age were already tapping into Botox and injections and whatnot, but I decided that wasn't for me. A friend told me about SB Skin and described it as 'pilates for your face'. I saw her the evening after her appointment and she was absolutely glowing. I booked an appointment fast, and then became a regular. Essentially, microcurrents work the muscles on your face and send signals to your face on how to 'hold' itself, if that makes sense. That's how I think of it. It's like... youth + glow rehab. After a few sessions, the 'tired' look was gone. It's like the sessions smoothed out the tiredness and left my skin glowing and looking younger. I now go for the maintenance and I love it. Not only will you walk out of there looking your best, but the underlying results of the microcurrent facials are truly permanent. My routine is now 1x month SB Skin Facial & then 3x a year I get a standard facial with exfoliation etc. I love Shamara (SB skin founder) - she's so friendly and cool. She IS the studio. Anna is great also and gives a great shoulder massage. The location is super convenient (what train doesn't go to Union Square?!) and the space is zen yet hip (white space / light wood + baron von fancy art). Love my SB Skin!!!!
